there’s always a first time for everything… 😳
but tbh I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m just saying we will see top tier EDG or choking EDG. No in-between.
I agree but EDG still needs to prove they can be consistent contenders on the international stage. That’s the reasoning behind why I ranked them below DRX.
I think your power ranking is great. I would only disagree with ZETA in 15 and I’d argue you should place them higher.
I’m just thinking they might be like EDG last year. But, they could always come out swinging. You just never know what you’re going to get when everyone is prepping for Champions, especially teams who haven’t been to a VCT LAN before.
reasonable. when I was deciding between KRÜ and ZETA, I just thought of the head-to-head and thought whose playstyle would be more effective. Honestly, KRÜ has more momentum than ZETA does going in to Champions so this take is very reasonable.
maybe over TL but I just can’t bring myself to put them above NRG
ya they’re pretty good but the problem everyone else is too and they haven’t had time on the international stage
lmk what you think :)
I think it will be EG and T1, but FUT might be able to cook something up
I personally think LOUD are in a slump, but I don’t think it’s fair to them. DRX have been looking rough since the end of the Pacific League. LOUD only looked bad in Tokyo, so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was a one-time thing.
FNC and NRG/ZETA (I wanna say ZETA, but they may drop the ball against international competition, especially against the veterans in NRG)
The reason I ranked Group A over Group B is because of the “4th” teams of each group (GIA > FPX)
is honestly Group C. Group D has two teams in a slump (NAVI, DRX) and another two who underperformed in Tokyo (TL, LOUD). Therefore, although you could have called it THE GROUP OF DEATH pre-Tokyo, it cannot be considered the toughest group. I think it is the second toughest group, though.
Group C’s has only one “weak” team (BLG, although they could pull of an upset for sure), with two favorites (FNC, NRG) and one revitalized team (ZETA). This group is the most competitive in my opinion, although FNC could just stomp their way through. The other two groups are honestly on the weaker side. There is one clear favorite to go through for Groups A and B (PRX, EG), as well as two teams who definitely have a good chance to make it through (EDG, KRÜ, T1, FUT).
TLDR: GROUP TOUGHNESS RANKING
‘//,
FNC, KRU, GIA, DRX
TL, LOUD, BLG, ZETA
FUT, NRG, EDG, PRX
NAVI, EG, FPX, T1
FNC, NAVI, LOUD, T1
PRX, KRU, FUT, BLG
TL, NRG, EDG, DRX
EG, ZETA, GIA, FPX
ngl even though im rooting for ZETA the heroics they pulled off on ascent are definitely not replicable
Exactly. I’m expecting Giants to play consistently well so it’s up to whether KCorp can bring consistency to their own gameplay.
really just kcorp versus themselves 💀
If I see another person forget to buy I’m going to-
I called it. I knew NAVI would look deflated. The team just has a downward trajectory since cNed’s joining. Maybe this loss will finally wake them up, but then again they weren’t trolling with comps this time and still ended up losing. They really need a change of pace and a breath of fresh air.
pretty nice, keep watching what you wanna watch 👍 make sure to watch wholesome vending machine isekai though 😊
for jp servers someone has to speak up first before the rest follow; otherwise, yes, it will be a quiet game.
felt more like a REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE than a RAHHHHHHHHHH tbh
people are having heated discussions so I’m not so sure. I know some people are just trolls though.
Just adds fuel to the fire. Everyone can be racist. By generalizing who’s more racist and who’s less racist creates negative stereotypes. Please, be better. Seeing these threads genuinely hurts my soul.
I would like to point out everyone here is being racist by generalizing groups of people. We should be better.
yeah, I usually like to be more of a spectator than a participant. However, I’ve become more active recently during these summer months.
