Why does this org love dropping and picking back up players so much? +vanity -vanity +vanity -vanity. -mitch +mitch. Maybe it shows that they are a good org since they always keep relations with players even after dropping them but goddamn, being a c9 staff member must be crazy watching a guy get fired and rehired within like two days.

Asc-imm is filled with the craziest group of people I have ever seen. There are some really good players and some really awful players in that rank. Some people are chill and comm and some people have the biggest egos imaginable. Literally the most hit or miss rank ever, you'll see people in immortal who play like they are gold and you'll see people in asc play like they deserve imm3.

Rule 1 and 2 are fine but rule 3 isn't fair because it forces people to put more teams in lower tiers even if they don't deserve it, or vice versa. Also why are we making rules for tier lists?

Looks nicer but I also think it's too dark now. But tbf, this isn't cs, the characters are very bright and easy to see no matter the lighting. The game already looks bad so I don't see the point of visual lighting changes trying to make it look slightly better.

Ik, that was most likely one of the factors that caused Riot to create the scene. Obviously they won't say that as their official reason though so I was wondering if they had an official statement.

Yea ik that's why I said it's riskier to do it in India but the reason China has such a big playerbase is because there has been so much of an investment into its gaming scene from big devs like epic games and riot. India would probably not have as much of a scene if it was invested in the same way that China was but it would still be massive compared to the other regions. The decision makes sense from the business perspective but it is against the spirit of a competitive scene In my opinion, however, that obviously doesn't matter. I made this thread because I was curious if Riot ever responded to the criticism that I had seen against the scene officially, but it seems people either don't know or they haven't.

I don't know if this is true but if it is it's obvious why. The population of China is extremely large so if something is promoted across the region, it will get more viewers because there is more people. Same thing could be done to India aswell IMO if Riot invested time into the region. Bit riskier tho and also they don't have Indian links which is why they didn't do it. Problem is the same IMO with both regions in this hypothetical, it's unfair to give an entire region their own league.

Awful change, prime example of a game dev trying too hard to regulate stuff. This stuff is purely for image IMO. I doubt they will use this rule very often and if they do it will most definitely be an overstep of power and people will realize it is stupid.

The NRG disaster was not the fault of one person but rather the fact that the roster would not work at all due to synergy issues. Ethan shouldn't have been igl, Demon1 also didn't fit into that roster at all, not his fault because that was just role issues. People like to blame one person and while individuals on the roster did underperform, that roster was just for hype and was never going to work. I never believed in that roster from the start and I'm not surprised it ended up how it did. All the people on that roster were very good at their own roles and I think they still deserve chances on teams that work with their roles.

NRG is barely related to the Optic Roster anymore, they only got FNS.

Iso is alright now, but that patch was crazy. Genuinely the craziest patch they ever added in my opinion, def did not playtest that. Also, why did they nerf iso immediately, but decide to keep neon how she is for even longer.

That is what I was thinking but it might just be recency bias. But as a character overall, she should not be in Valorant in my opinion. Hard to balance and it feels like Valorant devs will forever have to deal with trying to work with a character that shouldn't be in this game. Bad decision to ever even add her to the game.

What was the worst meta in Valorant history to just play in. I can recall a few that I didn't like but I'm sure I am forgetting some. The Chamber meta was definitely bad and the smoke era was awful, especially on pearl. However, I can't give a single meta because there are so many that I am probably forgetting. Thoughts?

Any player that doesn't match the fast and flicky style. So basically most igls. yay would probably be a bad Neon Player but maybe he could do well on it.

Thought that was just for fun, I doubt they will play in tier 2 tbh but we will see. They deserve to be in a team where they can fit in properly imo.

Is it confirmed that they will be streamers for this season or are they at least in talks with some teams to play. Still very solid players in my opinion and I think the hate is unjustified just because of the 2024 roster not working out.

Very true, 4th place is not a bad spot at all and all the months of practice with ardiis are def not something that should be overlooked. I just think that ardiis isn't right for this team, he's not bad but he just doesn't have that opping ability that yay does and even though yay is not looking to hot rn, I think if he finds himself in a team that supports and plays around him then he can once again become a very high-tier player (not that he isnt rn but yk, tier 2). But the gamble is quite risky.

Now that yay has left dsg. Do you think nrg will pick up yay and drop ardiis or keep him in hopes that he picks up some consistency? No hate to ardiis but he just isn't what nrg needs imo and its been like 5 months.

I think NRG is fine besides ardiis. I like him but he just isn't ever gonna compare to yay, since nrg seems to have always relied on a good oper for their plays to work and ardiis can not op.

Don't know, don't spend a lot of time on this site, but I have heard accusations that he is racist. Never seen any blatant racist posts by him though.

The hate for Doug and Balla is crazy. I personally love the duo but I will say they aren't as analytical as most casters seem to be. Still my favorite casting duo.

I think these babyj posts are getting out of control. While he does have a pretty big ego and is kinda a hypocrite, people provoke him left and right and try to get him mad. Like imagine, you are just trying to make it in pro valorant and everyone around you hates you and is always trying to get you mad, would be pretty annoying. Regardless, he made his image and that is how people received so idk.
