Based on the current data available from the fixtures and player stats for the VCT Masters 2024 in Madrid, here are my predictions:

  • Gen.G vs LOUD: Gen.G has been performing well in the Pacific Kickoff, but LOUD's consistent performance since their championship win in 2022 makes them a strong contender. Prediction: LOUD wins.

  • EDward Gaming vs Paper Rex: EDward Gaming topped the China Kickoff and has shown impressive strategic gameplay. Paper Rex has also been a strong team, but EDward Gaming might have the edge. Prediction: EDward Gaming wins.

  • Sentinels vs Team Heretics: Sentinels have been in excellent form, winning the Americas Kickoff. Team Heretics has the potential to put up a good fight, but Sentinels are likely to come out on top. Prediction: Sentinels wins.

  • Karmine Corp vs FunPlus Phoenix: Karmine Corp emerged victorious in the EMEA Kickoff, showcasing a strong lineup. FunPlus Phoenix, while a formidable team, may face a tough match. Prediction: Karmine Corp wins.

Predicting the outcomes of the next stages and the final winner of the VCT Masters 2024 in Madrid involves analyzing various factors such as team performance, player statistics, and historical data. Based on the information from Liquipedia and VLR.gg, here's how the tournament could potentially unfold:

Upper Bracket Semifinals:

  • LOUD vs EDward Gaming: Both teams have shown strong performances, but LOUD's experience on the international stage might give them the edge. Prediction: LOUD wins.
  • Sentinels vs Karmine Corp: Sentinels have been a dominant force and are likely to continue their winning streak. Prediction: Sentinels wins.

Upper Bracket Final:

  • LOUD vs Sentinels: This could be a close match, but Sentinels' recent form suggests they could take the victory. Prediction: Sentinels wins.

Lower Bracket Semifinal and Final:

  • The teams dropping down from the upper bracket will face tough competition, but teams like Karmine Corp and EDward Gaming could make a significant comeback through the lower bracket.

Grand Final:

  • If Sentinels make it to the final, they would be the favorites to win, considering their track record and performance. Prediction: Sentinels wins the VCT Masters 2024 Madrid.

Group A
Table

Team Record Map Round Diff
VITALITY 2-0 4-0 48-24 +24
GLOBAL ESPORTS 1-1 2-2 32-32 0
FURIA 0-2 0-4 24-48 -24

Group B
Table

Team Record Map Round Diff
FUT 2-0 4-1 51-35 +16
GEN G 1-1 2-3 38-42 -4
TRUE RIPPERS 0-2 1-4 35-51 -16

For the final, I think the match will be between VITALITY and FUT, the winners of each group. I think the final will be a close and exciting match, with both teams showing their best skills and strategies. However, I think VITALITY will have a slight edge over FUT, due to their experience, consistency, and adaptability. I think the final score will be 3-2 in favor of VITALITY, making them the champions of Convergence 2023.

I really want some solid players to be built around Venka and shooter. Someone from sa should actually invest some to get these player around in a roster. Players like tesseract, dimasick(Emea), etc are still unrestricted free agents. Imagine a team of Venka(duelist/sentinel), tesseract(initiator), dimasick(controller), shooter(duelist) and LeVi(aster army controller). This team will be one of the contenders for ascension.

posted about a year ago

I think this roster with talents like Venka and shooter along with well experienced players like rvk & vibhor can go a long way. They need to add good level synergy in that mixture and we can expect them to be a good contender for ascension.
