i mean in val u play 1 match a week during the week in the splits. in league u play 2-3 matches depending on the region. in cs u play non stop bc there r non stop events.
for internationals i can slightly c your reasoning but its double elim for playoffs. cs is single elim where if u fk up once u r done for that event. tbh for cs too there only like 4 events a yr that everyone cares bout (2 majors, katowice and cologne). for fnc, they fk up both their games vs fut and gen g.

i think the difference is that there r no dominant teams this yr. last yr u had fnc dominating the yr until eg took over at tokyo and champs. 22 was loud optic. this yr no team is consistently at the top looking better then everyone else.

part of it is stewie and the other part is that cs crowds are a lot better then val crowds. also cs the esport clears val. the game tho is a whole nother story cs boring asf. riot b trying to nerf the crowds not allowing certain signs while cs is just unfiltered and drinking non stop

if u really wanna c a team run an esports, then go look at t1 in league. teasers viewership go from 2.1mll views to 233k for other teams

The only league that Ik that lets teams pick their opponents in playoffs is the lck and its only the top seed. The only time that it failed was when KT picked T1 last summer xdd. T1 beat KT initially and in the lower bracket and eventually won worlds xdd. the memes were hilarious bc of this. With that being said, I hope fpx make it through and face 100t and fpx wins just for the memes.
