they would have to drop something. Also something isn’t the best player on PRX, it’s f0rsaken and it isn’t particularly close

posted 1 month ago

behind s1mon sure

posted 1 month ago

not to mention most of these guys were coming off a break

posted 1 month ago

he wasn’t, the best was kr1stal, and performance always matters more

posted 1 month ago

based on what?

posted 1 month ago

it can’t tho, also, from everything we’ve seen so far, their best player is kr1stal hands down

posted 1 month ago

yeah u right

posted 1 month ago

idk, i think it’s better to just not take this event seriously at all, they are the only team that played with head coach. PRX maybe took it a bit seriously, we’ll see. But DRX and Zeta def didn’t.

posted 1 month ago

I think DRX will be fine off the rip, in comparison, HYUNMIN had a way better offseason that the one flashback had when he first joined. Athan just needs time but the teams has a lot of trust in him. also, if there is ever a team that can improve quickly, it’s DRX. Went from getting 2-0’d by RRQ to beating KRU and Fnatic comfortably in the span of 2 months. Also free1ng might actually shape up to be a goated fraggin igl

posted 1 month ago

if they actually did that, isn’t that just a massive waste of time?

especially since no other team did that and took it as seriously as them

posted 1 month ago

nah they did fine, #noticing someone took this event more seriously than others

posted 1 month ago

yeah, i don’t like the ratings tho, makes it hard to win with certain teams even in the long run because players don’t have high development

posted 1 month ago

I think the players are just trying to have some fun

posted 1 month ago

It’s really base on the map and who is playing which role but I think it’s generally

Controller > Initiator > Duelist > Sentinel

Controller- Extremely hard to win without one
Initiator- Hard to win without one, but the role can be fulfilled replaced by certain non initiator agents if utility is used well
Duelist- A good duelist can single-handedly win you games, but if a duelist is replaced by an initiator on certain map, you’ll honestly be fine.
Sentinel- A good sentinel can also single-handedly win you games, it’s a must play on heavy attack sided maps or else its belt to ass.

all 4 are important but this is my opinion

posted 1 month ago

all 4 maps had a 7-1 score

posted 1 month ago

never seen a player go 20-15 in a 13-7 match and have such a low rating. They doing. HYUNMIN wrong

posted 1 month ago

yeah, i got baited unfortunately

just seen someone put BuZz over MaKo. I think BuZz is getting a bit overrated now

posted 1 month ago

smoggy should win but he prolly won’t

posted 1 month ago

??? BuZz isn’t better than MaKo

posted 1 month ago

2022 lowkey, streets was saying LOUD had a fluke run in iceland after getting grouped in copenhagen

posted 1 month ago

i can name one but yeah i agree it should be 1st

posted 1 month ago

set plays like that don’t work that well in this meta. Hitting a site with a set play nowadays means you just get util dumped on the retake.

Not only that, but the basic execs are not anything special anymore since everyone does it and everyone expects it, and knows how to counter it

There’s Pacific Spotlight left

posted 1 month ago

truth be told, i’m pretty sure most of them don’t even know who kai is despite him jett diffing both sayf and aspas back 2 back

posted 1 month ago

I think Flashback style just suits DRX a lot better. DRX has alr seen a drastic shift in performance level when he’s off senti vs when he’s on(even if Flashback himself doesn’t play worse) Example: vct pacific stage 2 group stage when foxy9 was still playing senti, vs playoffs when they switch flashback back to senti

HYUNMIN has all the qualities of a future star duelist, if there was ever a player with the potential of reaching the level of BuZz or even surpassing him(i think he will with time) It’s him. The roles Athan played in the soop event made me more confident in him bc it seems like he’s an actual flex. He shows flashes but needs more time since he’s new to pro play. free1ng actually is pretty good for a playing who recently started as igl, good fragging and makes solid adjustments without the need for timeouts. Also it seems he’s much more willing to igl than MaKo was.

Everyone knows it doesn’t matter, people who are trying to use offseason results for their agenda are just dumb.

Not too long ago i literally watch crws solo carry a map against Gen G. The same crws that that played in kickoff stage 1, stage 2 and champs and didn’t have an acs higher that 170.

Also, i’m pretty sure the players don’t even warm up half the time

with all due respect, it’s says aim duel, rate the players by their aim alone, lots of these aren’t rated my aim alone

posted 1 month ago

this is insane recency bias, BuZz has always been known as a player that was extremely inconsistent on the op

posted 1 month ago

I don’t think NRG are frauds but i think that if t3xture didn’t go insane that match and if Gen G didn’t win all 4 pistols, DRX would’ve won the match and put up a better fight and even win against NRG

posted 1 month ago

too early for ts bro

posted 1 month ago

offseason tournaments doesn’t count, what really matters is their practice and Gen G is one of the best when it comes to that, they are top 1 APAC until proven otherwise

posted 1 month ago

his aim is the worst on the team, but it’s not bad by any means. Also just give him time, he just started actually playing actual pro matches, regardless, his utility is good, and it looks like he’ll be an actual flex and not just a flash initiator so that’s also good. I’ve seen some good moments, whether it’s flicks or multi kills to know that he definitely has it in him.

posted 1 month ago

Last time I checked it’s an offseason event, and last time i checked they alr mentioned they aren’t playing their comps that they use in practice.

Also Athan doesn’t even have real pro play experience so just give him time, they obviously see something in him if he got signed for 4 years

posted 1 month ago

unlucky, our biggest issue rn is that we let pistol rounds and unlucky rounds snowball way too easily. Happened with Talon, happened with trace, and now Gen G.

Luck wasn’t on our side today, but it’s whatever. Also MaKo had a bad game

The Champions Paris Trophy will still be ours

surely not, they have jinboong playing fade

nah, he’s right

posted 1 month ago

has anyone considered the fact that it’s actually not a coaches fault if their duelist can’t play raze.

I’m sure he’s improved but i’m talking about NRG earlier in the year. Like why was everyone flaming them for putting demon1 on raze, it’s not hard to learn raze at all.

China has, kk, whzy, kai, fengf, spring, stew, life, rarga

It actually takes looking at them play one match to realize that they are all good.

in terms of depth is def china, overall, idk, maybe americas but they are top heavy

posted 1 month ago

it’s actually criminal that the tech pauses in map 1 vs BLG messed up the DRX players stats
