Ever since Gambit turned into M3C sheydos has been a better player than chronicle

posted about 2 years ago

Consistency is measured in international performances not in regional dominance because that doesn’t take into account the region’s overall level, if so I could say Loud>>>Optic cause loud is much more dominating in BR

If you wanna go with international performances AND regional dominance than Gambit takes the W

Keznit still 1v5s most of latam but I doubt they’ll be able to beat leviathan this time

“V1 no practice” is an excuse, the team got decked on playoffs last time around and were just honeymooning on group stage

“Guard lost to champions and fourth place” and Nip lost to fifth place (DRX when they were still hot at the start of the tournament) and had the closest game of all against the third place, remember optic lost to X10 and Rise as well so how teams matchup vary a lot so what determines who’s better in the end is consistency, and guard has none

Last point, see how your only argument in the end is “yeah we can’t compare but I’m sure teams from my region are better” that’s an opinion not an argument, so yeah NRG can end up being insanely good but we can’t affirm that yet, just like we can’t compare T2 Br and NA until franchises start, which makes giving NA double the numbers of the other two regions COMBINED extremely unfair and baseless

posted about 2 years ago

Nip>kru
Sorry to feel you but V1 wouldn’t win against any of the teams listed there
You can’t say for sure NRG is a top tier team when the best opponent they beat was TSM
Guard has no international wins and is very unlikely they’ll be winning anything again anytime soon based on how they look

NA has Optic and MAYBE C9 (they don’t look as good as you guys make em out to be) as top tier, as for the rest I’m sorry if these teams are all you watch but there’s no plausible argument as to why they’re better than teams from other regions

posted about 2 years ago

Lol yeah sure 8 teams for NA keep dreaming, NA has 6 and Br/latam the other 6 that’s how it works

Otherwise NA would be getting 6 teams for every masters since br+latam is 3

They could easily make a super team in Korea or maybe even in japan (crazy viewership unlike Korea)

But no, let’s just keep being T3 NA and paying tens of thousands to mfing Steel.

Lol the main reason why yay>leaf is because of the AWP

Liquid and sliggy have tried literally everything possible already and they still couldn’t win shit, it’s great that Liquid realized the only thing they could do to improve the team is by changing some of its personnel

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like their aim has actually improved and teamplay is quite good still considering they have two new additions.

I’ve lost count of how many times Cned threw by solo pushing their spawn tho, against a better team they might end up getting punished hard for this

posted about 2 years ago

I was actually predicting Loud to use this exact Acend comp as well (don’t ask me why)

I guess that with chamber replacing the sentinel and Jett roles altogether they felt like they already had enough utility to be able to just put Cned on a go kill character, which works since he’s Cned of course

As I said, free fire is now what CS was 10 years ago, by longevity The CS scene had much more of a staple than lol or free fire.

you literally just ignore all my points: “youngsters don’t care about CS”, yeah, that’s why I said it was much more famous amongst people over 20, while free fire is more popular with the younger generation

“CS is only profitable to a select few”, again, right now it is, but I can name you tens of CS 1.6 pioneers that still owe their entire careers to the game

You clearly know nothing of Brazil’s story in CS since 1.6, it wasn’t the double major wins that came out of nowhere and put us on the map, it was a decade long arduous process and continuous improvement and attempts that managed to get those wins, but even then we were by no means nobodies on the world stage

And about the last art, if you say so

Uumm the CS scene is the biggest Esport scene in br by a mile, and yes there is a special connection between its people and the game especially for those born in the 90s. Literally more than half the people in their 20s that you meet in br have played CS, the game came around when people in Br were finally managing to buy their own computers and CS came as a free and extremely entertaining game for this low income youth.

LAN houses are a staple of the 2000s in br, CS also provided an opportunity for countless of poor kids to climb up socially, and it was the first esport scene where we managed to make our mark. All of this comes in a similar way as free fire does to kids nowadays, CS is cultural phenomena in Brazil, you’ll be able to talk about it to most above their 20s Brazilians and everyone will recognize the scene’s most emblematic names such as fer, fallen, taco, cold, fnx, gaules etc
