You have to remember that a lot of the benchings and cuts are mutual between the team/org and the player. Also, many teams had the goal of reaching champions, and when they don't reach that goal, changes will be made, we see this in CS too

Since in the challenger playoffs the 5th and 8th seed have to go up against sentinels, I can practically imagine that tsm or faze would want to go 6th seed so they can get 2 potential wins before playing sentinels (I feel like nv, 100t and xset are on the same level, this is also assuming tenz doesnt throw)
