?? while gc teams aren't on the same level as main male teams yet, the whole point of orgs signing them is to nurture the scene. only w/ proper coaching and funding can this new field flourish. L take

costed them so many rounds. really thought he had been working on it but is seems as though he's still a op 1 trick

lose: why everyone clowning on us
win: trashing on every other region

GG's can't wait to see us play against other regions again. also can't wait to hear the complaints/excuses once we lose

posted about 2 years ago

doesn't change the fact that they've won series against some of the top emea teams and taking a series off of us

GG's they proved that they deserved to be in the grand finals

posted about 2 years ago

such a young game and people were dismissing these "inferior" regions. just give them time and they'll bring their own flavors to the scene

posted about 2 years ago

all good, you'll find your specialty soon bro. doesn't have to be esports but something you really enjoy and believe in

posted about 2 years ago

it's so great seeing what talent teams are constantly bringing in as it creates a team culture that makes each region's playstyle so unique. fresh strats and different comps at every LAN make it so exciting to watch what each region brings to the table. "inferior" regions have the time needed to prove opponents wrong. GG's LOUD, hoping to see Optic play against you in the grand finals

fr, saw boaster tear up. some bad calls from him today but he shouldn't be the one to burden it all. this win should hopefully be a good sign for the whole JP scene

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, like I said, inconsistent. It was a problem when I followed him in his CS days and I worried if it would be a problem in val. Looks like I was correct

posted about 2 years ago

Inconsistency has always been an issue. Sentinels dominated NA when the scene was still young and more aim based. As the game got older teams started getting more structured and brought new strats it got harder for them to maintain it through aim and chemistry alone. Also no coach

Don't really like Sean casting. He comes off biased sometimes, but I love his insight and experience as a former igl. Def should stay on the analyst desk, but I agree with your preferences overall

Sully and Upmind imo. They're young but super talented so there's definitely potential

Try Ousama Ranking. Watched the first 3 episodes and it was such a breath of fresh air. Others are Mob Psycho, Odd Taxi, Vinland Saga, Megalobox, Violet Evergarden, and Hellsing.

Ousama Ranking - WIT Studio's gorgeous visuals bring the really unique story and characters to life. Animation is top notch and you get an amazing journey of the protagonist as he unravels a mystery concerning his background and family.

Mob Psycho - Unique visuals and orgasmic animation of psychic battles from Madhouse left me creaming my pants tenfold. Characters are strong and extremely relatable.

Odd Taxi - The ambience and vibe I got from the conversations that took place in the literal taxi just felt so good. You might get turned off by the art style and characters, but it has a tie into the storyline as the mystery progresses.

Vinland Saga - Another anime produced by WIT, it's set in a nordic viking era with dudes shitting on each other. The story follows a kid who attempt to get revenge against his father's killer. Kinda basic, but the character interactions form a weird paradox where you don't really view the antagonist as an "antagonist". Politics and world building ensue where I'd argue is stronger than the protagonist's objective. Only gripe that I see people have with the anime is the main protagonist, but you can't really argue against it where he was raised in such shit circumstances.

Megalobox - Boxing anime of the underdog. It's a retelling of an older anime called "Hajime no Ippo". The visuals are gritty and the soundtrack is nuts. I prefer the second season as it focuses on heavier subjects such as drug abuse, PTSD, and grief. Thus it gives the story more content as it dives into these little nuances that you'd find anywhere in society.

Violet Evergarden - Fucking beautiful. Watch the movies too to wring your heart. WIT too good.

Hellsing - Gorefest of a badass immortal vampire. Another madhouse production that has a euphoric, unique artstyle.

TLDR; Wit best studio. Madhouse is pretty good too.

Both cater to different audiences. Eminem has great cadence, intricate wordplay, and flow. Kendrick also has all those, though MAYBE(to some) to an arguably lesser degree. What fans really enjoy him for is his concepts, storytelling, addressment to social issues, and listening experience that varies with each project released, which is why I enjoy his discography more than Eminem's.

This is acad..??? C9 just won the Knights Valorampage against notable T1.5 and T2 teams so you might wanna read first next time lol

posted about 2 years ago

ah shit I didn't catch that. mb then, even more sadge for T1 then

posted about 2 years ago

Keep in mind that Zero has been in the tier 2 team scene for a while now. T1 just announced this roster. Ofc, they have practiced beforehand, but still newer in terms of official matches.

thwifo from XSET was a solid sentinel. Steel gigabrain at Berlin. Curry is meh so I probably shouldn't have included him.

posted about 2 years ago

Not a good debut for the new T1, who fields several tier 1 names like thwifo, steel, and curry. They are a new team that was playing against a more established roster like Zeromarksmen, but disappointing nonetheless. Hopefully with enough time and practice they can surprise us in VCT :)

Holy shit it's been awhile! Been awhile since we've last seen them.

Damn, they were always one of the most prominent KR teams. Hope they get signed by another org. A few switchups and changes here and there and they could easily contend with VS. GL

Disregarding the banter and trash talk, the EU vs NA series this tournament have once again been nailbitingly close. Insane clutches and plays all around. Looks like an EU grand finals if X10 get eliminated. GGs EU :)

Why? What happened? I just think that the nailbiting endings on some of these round smay cause a lot of stress for us. Masturbation is an excellent solution to relieving it.

I think Split is a claustrophobic map where rounds are played slow and methodically. Xset were really good at controlling the tempo whereas Breeze is more open allowing for individual play and aim to be more prominent.
