will tacolilla be shit even in tier 2?? oh i wonder

posted 6 months ago

I agree, but why? I don’t think it’s because of age, i think it’s something mentally but I cannot possibly begin to know what it is

posted 6 months ago

Also dsg slow did the same thing but idk why because he was apart of the coaching staff of the least functional team in all of challengers. Not just NA but probably any tier 2 scene in the world

i dont think the chamber nerf is why he fell off. Its obviously a part but i think its far more than that

firstly, yay was really good on andbox
https://imgur.com/a/2ahIPAZ
^his stats from his last qualifier with andbox to an na challenger event.
he was beating out babybay, leaf, cryocells, koalanoob, will, wardell etc..

this was while playing jett and sage with some stinky teammates. he didnt even qualify putting up these numbers.

secondly, yay was still the best player on a tier 1 team after chamber nerf
https://www.vlr.gg/167358/drx-vs-cloud9-champions-tour-2023-lock-in-s-o-paulo-alpha-qf/?game=all&tab=overview
^last game for c9 he had best performance on the team only playing nerfed chamber 1/3 maps

to say yay was a chamber merchant who was only good in one meta is lazy and wrong, he succeeded before AND after chamber meta
i think it fell apart when c9 dropped him and he couldnt find a decent team.

Dsg was the perfect storm to destroy any good players career.

after steel was let go i believe they had exalt igling?? hes a tier 3 level player at best and he was igling while playing reyna. that team was so terribly bad, they made Mad Lions look genuinely really good as Mad Lions were a real team and Dsg was just a complete mess

i think the pressure and criticism of being the guy everyone looked to on a doomed team got to him. all the anticipation about his move and all the impressions he got from any tweet he made mustve been stressful.

my reasoning for his falloff was also lazy, im just really thinking of stress and pressure to perform which can very well be wrong

all i know is it cant be chamber nerf and it cant be age or something as hes only 25

idek

i knew yay was special on andbox and that team was ass. he was carrying some very average players

him on andbox was far better than him on dsg or bleed

370 is crazy

So fax’s bro.

I don’t think he has because he played some pug tournaments in the off season. He still has a roster spot with the old faze guys - supamen.

He’s got a very quiet online presence and he doesn’t ever say much so idk

Map 3, close game between global and bleed, huge important game where loser is eliminated. Bleed have a great chance of making the play in as long as they can beat global on this map. They have the greatest valorant player ever, in yay.
Yay goes 6/19 kd with a .4 R and 83 acs with 3 first deaths and 0 first kills…

I have always said he is my goat of valorant, even after getting relegated with dsg. But now idk.

My goat might be derke or chronicle or maybe even soon aspas with how good he’s been on lev so far.

Can the goat be the goat if he only had one year of success? It was by far the best year ever for a player in valorant in terms of just performance, but it was just one year. Derke and chronicle have been winning and performing for 3 going on 4 years. Aspas is not slowing down anytime soon.

Yay is washed and not my goat

It’s global esports…

posted 6 months ago

yeah i didnt realize and thats mb

i saw what a wrist injury did to poised, he was a terrible player but then the offseason before 2023 he said he finally felt feeling in his hand again and he became a genuinely really good player

posted 6 months ago

i honestly dont think they would. theyd pick deadlock and phx and other off meta picks but iso might be too useless even for them
