I think they are a better duo, chronicle and nats are not consistently this good too + derke and alfajer play star roles unlike chronicle and nats so its easier to have impact

if they are able to perform in bo5 in playoffs and playing good after they are figured out then 100% not even close, their problem has always been depth, if teams know what they do they cant adapt and will get destroyed (example is kru in champs and fpx last stage) I hope with the addition of enzo who was an igl before fnatic, he can bring a new perspective to the team and help boaster with adapting and playing off fundamentals

clear example of this: you could make trexx or sayf play his roles since both are one of the best in the roles russ currently plays and then bring fitinho for a real duelist main, that would be a clear upgrade imo, no matter what russ brings to the table, as of today in valorant firepower in t1 is dogshit and chemistry doesnt matter as much atm, if you have superior firepower chances are you will destroy even if you arent that good as a team, examples are: liquid, new fnatic destroying with very little experience playing together, new guild qualified to vct without losing a match and having 3 new players, fpx 2022 roster, etc... firepower is everything in valorant atm imo, there are weak links in 90% of top teams, if you have 5 insane players and good igl/coach you will be instantly top5 team, specially guild, they are very experienced now playing together, a firepower upgrade would not destroy the chemistry and would only be a good thing
