But don’t let this post distract you from the fact that FaZe Clan choked a 15-11 lead in the CS:GO Boston Major Final on the final map, Inferno, giving C9 and NA their first Major

So I created a ranking for all 7 Masters regions back in September, linked here. I updated the formula and added new data from the rest of Masters Berlin. I want this to be a preview for Champions Berlin and I’m hoping a struggling region will surprise us!

Reykjavik calculation: (rounds won + 30 for match win) x 0.75 modifier / number of representatives = modified total + achievement points = Reykjavik points
Achievement points:
1: 60 points
2: 40 points
3: 20 points

  1. 10 points
(Regions cannot receive 2 Achievement bonuses.)
(In the case of regional matchups, no points are awarded to the region.)

Berlin calculation: (rounds won + 30 for group stage win; + 40 for playoffs win) x 1 modifier / number of representatives = modified total + achievement points = Berlin points
Achievement points:
1: 70 points
2: 50 points
3-4: No semifinal points were awarded due to regional matchups.
5-8: 20 points
(Regions cannot receive 2 Achievement bonuses.)
(In the case of regional matchups, no points are awarded to the region.)

Rankings:

  1. North America
    217.875 Reykjavik points + 201.67 Berlin points = 419.545 International points
  2. EMEA
    197.75 Reykjavik points + 200.75 Berlin points = 398.5 international points
  3. Korea
    140.75 Reykjavik points + 107 Berlin points = 247.75 international points
  4. Latin America
    57 Reykjavik points + 164 Berlin points = 221 international points
  5. Southeast Asia
    69 Reykjavik points + 47 Berlin points = 116 international points
  6. Brazil
    43.875 Reykjavik points + 63 Berlin points = 106.875 international points
  7. Japan
    26.25 Reykjavik points + 56.5 Berlin points = 82.75 international points
