Luminosity are usually very good on Icebox and Ascent, however their performance on Ascent is based on how hot thief is. I think Icebox and Split will be the other maps again. I'm predicting Sentinels to win on both Icebox and Split so 2-0.

For one, hazed is a lot better on smokes. Dropping cutler and drone, putting subroza on duelist and hazed as smokes, and finding a good sentinel player is a very fair move.

Sure, in first strike dicey didn't play that well. That's not why they picked him up. They picked him up because he was young and had potential to be a great player. He has matured a lot as a Jett and even though his opping still leaves a lot to be desired, in the most recent tournaments he played with 100T he was far from the problem. In fact, he was arguably playing the best on the team. I think just saying "dicey was getting carried" is a bit of an overstatement.

A team that puts only one of Drone and Subroza on duelist is bound to be inefficient. I think they should definitely consider removing one of them if they find someone decent.

I disagree with both. NRG instead of GENG is the assured one out of the lower half of the bracket, and I don't think you just automatically put TSM over 100T like that.

FaZe didn't even ban Haven against Sentinels. I think they will go with Icebox.

T1 is good at setting up nice plays and catching rotations and playing the map beautifully. That's why they are always caught running out the clock and playing very late into the round. However, I think FaZe's sort of PUG energy will destroy T1 much as other teams have in the past, where they just peek and push often and can shut down T1's strategies before they can even get to a place to work.

Ok, let's think about it this way: what 4 teams are better than TSM?

100 Thieves obviously, Luminosity Gaming obviously. But who next? GenG, who barely beat a worse version of the team in CH2, arguably a fluke? NRG, who's new roster still has a lot to prove? FaZe? T1? I think TSM is more likely than any team other than 100T and LG.

If Riot only had 10 spots to give out, this would probably be the best decision. Sure it isn't fair, but nothing else would be. The alternatives are removing one from brazil and giving one to eu/tr/cis, but I think this is better because the best two teams from that region will be there anyways.

What I was trying to phrase is that they WANTED 16 spots, and WANTED a bigger event, but they had to settle for only 10 teams and some had to be cut. What I was trying to suggest was that there should be 3 EU/TR/CIS and 1 BR (just for this event, not the future).

I'm guessing at least some of the players on free agency like brax and others are biding their time and waiting, or already have something in the works. Because there's no way there's just NO team interesting in them yet.

I think FaZe will outpace T1 and T1 will falter when the match starts to become more puggy and chaotic like a lot of NA matches do, especially FaZe's. 2-0 FaZe.

Your idea is great, but that's the sort of thing you need when you have like 30+ agents with many agents for each role. I like the sentiment, but I think there needs to be at least a little more depth to the agent pool for it to work.
