No one's underrating them anymore

posted about 3 years ago

I mean, yeah, nitr0 is very good, but so is SicK. SicK is arguably the best player on SEN (apart from TenZ) and he's insane. I think nitr0 is a little better but it's roughly equal.

Two players popping off gives you a 50% chance of winning. But three? FaZe came to play.

posted about 3 years ago

Well, Bind is the real decider. If they win Bind they're the better team. But Envy losing icebox to faze is 100% expected.

posted about 3 years ago

I cannot comprehend why they let icebox through but banned ascent. It just doesn't make sense. Not a single other team except T1 let both icebox and haven through against FaZe. Their map phase is so see-through: ban split, pick icebox, pick haven. Envy's worst map is clearly icebox and FaZe's best map is icebox/haven. I just don't get it.

I mean, I'm just saying, there's not a lot of times where I'm reduced to 1HP from a viper ult or a smoke

posted about 3 years ago

Or they could just rework/remake the entire agent and make her more friendly to new users as well as make her more viable in general, but still keep the theme of viper

posted about 3 years ago

A couple suggestions I have would maybe be making the smokes/ults fatal, and adding another smoke so that she can use one for taking site and use one for post-plant

relyks vice and mitch need to go asap for c9B to have any success. TenZ couldn't even carry those guys.

Evidence against your claim:
1) They took Envy to 3 maps, arguably the best team in the tournament with ample preparation
2) They demolished XSET on two maps they weren't the best at
3) Luminosity, IMT, and SEN all don't look that good right now, they've had moments but overall just leaving a lot to be desired

Will Envy finally break FaZe's win streak?

posted about 3 years ago

I would say maybe as of right now...
steel = dapr
ethan > zombs
asuna < tenz
nitro = sick
hiko < shahzam

But this is obviously individual players, which means about nothing. I think as a team 100T has greater chemistry. So we'll see what hapenns.

posted about 3 years ago

But isn’t there a middle ground? Like Illinois or Texas for the US?

posted about 3 years ago

I don't know if I'm stupid, but I'm just wondering why there's separate regions in masters 1. For example, why is there Latin American North, Latin America South, and Brazil. I'm no genius but that doesn't seem right. NA isn't split into Canada, East Coast, and West Coast.

Don't give this dude attention please

posted about 3 years ago

GenG is a better team by far than XSET right now though. Still a valid point.

posted about 3 years ago

How are you sold on LG but not 100T lmfao. 100T are only going to get better, and they beat LG.

posted about 3 years ago

First of all, BcJ is a god. Not the #1 in ranked for no reason. Secondly, I think GenG is maybe the 4th or 5th best team in the tournament right now behind NV, FaZe, and 100T. They can go far.

posted about 3 years ago

I will post this once, please don't give this dude the attention he craves. Just ignore this post and move on. Thanks :)

posted about 3 years ago

Ok well you can look at what each team does well and kind of base it off of that. I don't agree that FPX is the best team, but I also don't agree that Vision Strikers are even top 5.

posted about 3 years ago

I have no reason to believe that Riot will stop making new maps and agents. Each time they do this, it brings more attention to the game. Like LoL, they're never going to stop making new champions because they make money. I'm sure bans will come eventually when there are like 20+ agents.

posted about 3 years ago

Nono, I'm not arguing that TSM was better than LG, 100T, or FaZe. I'm arguing that they were better than GenG. And I got downvoted.

posted about 3 years ago

And either way, the other counter argument is that TSM LITERALLY BEAT GENG. Maybe GenG got a little better after that match but who's to say TSM didn't either, they just lost to LG and then 100T.

posted about 3 years ago

Ok but the argument against that is that 100T didn't have enough practice together and were still settling in. The next day, they progressed a lot as a team and became better than they were against NRG. This was easy to predict as well.

posted about 3 years ago

Ok, look at this way: TSM beat GenG, lost to LG, lost to 100T. GenG lost to TSM, beat Kooky Koalas, beat NRG. Who deserves masters more? It seems quite obvious I don't know.

posted about 3 years ago

Wait why am I getting downvoted I'm right...? What's wrong/controversial about what I said. Whoever lost the quarterfinal match between GenG/TSM got masters while the winner didn't. Go look at the bracket again.

posted about 3 years ago

You mean FPX, NiP, and Heretics?

posted about 3 years ago

Should be a very interesting match. I think judging by how hot these teams both are, whoever goes into the losers bracket is going to destroy IMT/LG.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah I agree that FPX definitely can't be left out of contention. I just wouldn't be surprised if this ended up being the title match as well.

posted about 3 years ago

The last time these two faced, there were two different players on both sides. In addition, both teams have stark stylistic changes. I'd be surprised if the result was that SEN-favored as last time, but I don't think I would go as far as to predict 100T 2-0. I think 100T and SEN both have a lot to work on. In my opinion, like a lot of 100T's games, it will come down to Asuna's ability to click heads in crunch time. 100T are always on top when Asuna's on top. If we get the Asuna that played against LG last week this is 2-0 100T all day. If it's the same Asuna as against IMT, both maps will be close but 2-0 SEN.

No cap these might be the two best teams right now

posted about 3 years ago

The question is, are there other people that can hold sites like that and still frag?

posted about 3 years ago

Shahz said otherwise in the interview

posted about 3 years ago

You can look in the stats page and sort by belgium if that helps

posted about 3 years ago

Gonna be a lot of controversy about this take, but here's my USA roster:
FaZe Babybay (Jett)
IMT Shot Up (Reyna/Phoenix/Raze)
NV crashies (Sova)
LG aproto (Cypher)
100T nitr0 (Omen -- I know Ethan is doing it now but he definitely still can)

posted about 3 years ago

Agreed. His impact on defense was marginal, with the only good rounds he had being 3ks, one with op and one with knives.

posted about 3 years ago

(apart from leaf of course)

posted about 3 years ago

xeta's like the one good member of the team rn idk man

posted about 3 years ago

Technically they did deserve it over GenG. The weird thing is whoever lost that CH3 Quarterfinal made it to Masters, while the winner didn't. No way to predict that.

posted about 3 years ago

If Asuna on point, 100T rolls em. If he isn't, it's a lot closer.

posted about 3 years ago

Granted, Shahzam had a couple of great rounds towards the end but he was one of the main factors of their defeat on defense.

posted about 3 years ago

Crazy second map. Dre with the clean shots.

posted about 3 years ago

How do I know that? Multiple sources on C9B said so. Also, I'm sure they could, but I don't think they're just magically going to form into a power team, good players need time to gel and get along.

posted about 3 years ago

Sinatraa's aim and utility usage is exactly what makes him a good player. Tier 2 players don't just stumble on #1 in ranked and they don't just play as well in intense situations against tier 1 players. I agree that there are a lot better aimers than him, but he's a good well-rounded player. Also dicey isn't better than him.

posted about 3 years ago

TenZ did kind of get away with a lot on C9, I don't think some of his bullshit is going to fly on SEN. Like when he ignores some of IGL calls and strats.

The heck is that camera work, observers just trolled a good play
