that's a funny slang from the BR community LMAO i do think it applies a bit because he always shows up more for offseason... but yeah i hope he finally lives for the hype because this might be the best team he had since he started playing valorant

He's the chosen, he's the hero. He can see the future the past and the present at the same time. He's free from the matrix. His name is MWZERA

it was a team decision i think

i cant remember if it was stk or saadhak who said gekko makes the team stick too much to execs and the team wanted to play a different way

i've been saying since the first rumours came out
furia is strong and underrated

posted 1 month ago

natural because mibr trained less so they still got work to do
i was always a furia believer but they seem even better than i expected

posted 1 month ago

yeah but the entire team seems really good tbh not just mwzera they all seem really clean as a team

posted 1 month ago

why the fuck are they playing so well. how did this happen. what is this timeline we're living in. i'm getting so hyped for this team

posted 1 month ago

yeah but gobera also seems good enough of a sub specially since they didnt practice much, he can hold them until spike comes of age
kru can definitely be higher, they might surprise me who knows

posted 1 month ago

did you even read what i said about them lol

posted 1 month ago

why not?

posted 1 month ago

i think kru can definitely be up there if they fix some things about their current playstyle

posted 1 month ago

yeah, its fair enough. but i do think gobera has been a great sub and zap back igling might compensate his absence enough to hold the team in a good spot while he don't come back

Furia 2x1 MIBR

Hello. Since most america's offseasons are over, we have an idea on how teams might play and im not going to watch tixinha's final later today, i decided to update my VCT Americas Early Power Ranking. Decided also to change a bit and order teams in tier lists because i think the league is stacked and is hard to predict actual placements, so i'm going to unite them into possible placements, with no special order inside them (which means, any team inside the tiers could be at any placement, like Sentinels could be either 3 or 6 or anything in between)

1-2:

  • G2: Obvious candidate, already good core, and again: they feel like the only undeniable big upgrade on Americas. If everything goes right, they will be the strongest team on americas.
  • NRG: Liked what i saw already, some upsets happened but that's offseason, it's fine. Great firepower and good mix of youth and veterans.

3-6:

  • MIBR: Also obvious, a team with Aspas, they looked pretty good and will be even better with time. Might be the greatest BR team since Loud 22. I still think this team will demand a bit of time when the season starts, because they will get more punished with better and more experienced teams, but by the end of the season they will be top 3 at least.
  • Furia: I'm a Furia believer since day one, glad to see they are fullfilling my expectations. Still a lot to work on this team but they have a lot of potential, and i think they will fight for a champions spot at the end of the season.
  • 2G: They looked much better than expected without their IGL. Guys have interesting ideas and can shoot a lot. Gobera also looked really good subbing in. Might be a team to watch out for during the season. They will however lose a lot of firepower without Spike for most of the year, and i think Silentzz needs to step up a little more so the team can be truly great during that time.
  • Sentinels: They didn't look exactly great, but i do think they have their shit together a lot more than the other teams below. My problem with this team is that they look psychologically fragile, but if they fix a few things they might be really good.

7-9:

  • Leviatan: Again, this might be my hot take, but i don't really like this team. They didn't look really great either. But it's offseason so who knows? They might surprise me. I hope they do. They have a lot of firepower, that's for sure.
  • Kru: I might have been too rough to them on my last power ranking, i will say that. They are average, i think. Definitely will fight for playoffs. They could be great, specially with a strong core Keznit-Mazino-Shyy, but i don't think they will.
  • 100thieves: Kinda mixed cause i really do think this team is underrated, and Trust in Plug is your average offseason loss. But idk, everyone above them just seems more interesting. They might be good at the start of the season because their core have been together for more time, but probably will fall behind with time.

10-12:

  • Loud: Lost all my faith on this team. They look straight up boring. The firepower is there, but they really do need to fix too much things, most of them having been a problem for this entire year, and i don't trust the coaching staff to do this. Hoping they can surprise me, but i don't really believe it anymore.
  • EG: Don't know what to expect from this team. Probably the same things as this year but a bit worse. I don't even know if the offseason squad will be the same. Icy coming is definitely an upgrade for Sym, but not a big one. It's not 2023 anymore. May be great, may not. Who knows?
  • Cloud9: We all see this coming, right? Just straight up an avalanche of bad decisions. Probably just there for the vibes. Not big ambitions, just gonna win some games, make some jokes and that's it.

From my understanding it's currently a streamer who's running and funding this

Not only that but he's actively losing money with this and doing just because he really wants to see BR scene alive, also listening to players and public feedback to make the best experience to everyone. Very crazy considering how few technical difficulties and pauses there were during the whole event and this was his first. I'm not a tixinha fan by any means but he's really doing much more than riot lol

Part of being young is finding your identity and your life. You will feel lost but you will find yourself again. Don't worry, and good luck <3

i agree. i think mibr has the best raw talent, but furia feels more "ready" now. but it won't take long before mibr catches up and surpasses it

1) You'Il need a backup plan, so think about what you would work if valorant dont go well (what would you major on). Idk if your parents react well to that but take your time because thats a huge decision and you need to be sure. But ALWAYS have a backup plan
2) Do what you want as a "hobby"/side job. Is not going to give you anything for a long time, so just have fun with it. It's part having luck, part doing a good job. Just do what you can the best way you can and you will grow naturally
3) Remember three things: Time will pass anyway, so don't waste it and start when you want to. It's never late to start over, sometimes you make the wrong decision and you feel lost, and that's okay, you can rewind things. And have faith on yourself, because no one else will

I'm 21 finishing college and i still dont know what i wanna do with my life, but i'Il figure it out eventually, and things will get better. They always do. Just find your own footing and you'Il be fine

posted 1 month ago

sadly i dont think they will. probably after kickoff if lukxo gets in the team

posted 1 month ago

yeah, finals will be FURIA vs MIBR and a 3rd place match with KRU vs 2G or Loud (probably 2G since they will likely win now)
just sharing my impressions now since the groupstage is over

posted 1 month ago

FURIA: Has some things they need to fix but they look good enough already for the first tourney. I've seen a lot of potential on this team and they can be good with time

2G: Better than expected with tough opponents and external issues. Also spike igling?? Gobera looked like a great sub, and this team might surprise too

LOUD: Sometimes they looked good, sometimes they looked bad. Feel like they're still holding some problems from earlier this year, specially regarding team play and ability usage. Still have a bit of faith on this team and hope they fix these things in the next months, but they seem very limited right now

MIBR: Shaky at the start, but evolved more and more each day, and now they seem truly better than i expected now. Cortezia specially is a standout

posted 1 month ago

yeah i agree, but its his fault for choosing the players too

both things are terrible

he was a really good prospect and great on t2 but i didn't think he would be this good already
