what is the idea of this comp though? On paper it looks way worse than it is may be a mixture of NRG playing into the hands of C9's comp but C9 are just flushing out NRG and winning the gunfights.

realistically Marteen is the icy of this team; plays their role has those highs but not consistent enough. if KC just got a superstar or young prodigy duelist, I think they could have some insane shit happening there.

yeah the rotate times are awkward but the amount of different comps that are being used and the midrounding on the map is VERY enjoyable to watch besides seeing the same stale gameplay on Ascent. Last act I was Immo 2, and had a lot of fun playing the map with competent players who knew the fundamentals I feel its a lot of mid to low elo people complaining because people aren't using site smokes etc...

I feel like its harder to play it in ranked because not everyone is on the same page but i usually play 5 mans or premier with my friends and its really fun to play when you know how to play the map

I don't hate ascent but having it in the game for 5 years is VERY stale, I think you remove it for a year because a new map is coming out soon either way...

I mean your a PRX fan so you just think duelists can do it all by themselves

Contrary to what a lot of people think about the Abyss, I really enjoy watching this map in pro play aswell as playing it. Not excited to see Ascent come back into the map pool after being in the game for 4 years straight.

realistically what has Marteen shown us the past year of him in T1 to put him above Flor who mechanically is miles ahead of him, his decision-making is horrible, Marteen has his moments yes, but his plays aren't always reproducable, he's very inconsistent and one of the worst entry duelists.

personally I think at some point they should get young talented players from EU with an experienced IGLand just build around that. I don’t know much about the Apeks financial situation but they could’ve surely done better than this.
