1. Teams don’t have the same drive to win compared to Tier 1 so team quality as a whole drops. Practices are less intense, teams don’t get as good as reps because everyone is kinda mid

2. If everyone in gc isn’t great at the game how you get better? For example, If I played in iron and never worked seriously to get better I’m probably not getting anything better than silver

3. Easy paycheck. Players who aren’t even good enough to play in tier 2 can just steal paychecks and don’t have to actual try

4. Why try in a league that has like the same pay as tier 2 and is hated by a large portion of the community, at that point just play ranked and hope to get picked up
