So you're for boosting? If so, what is your stance also on smurfing? What about cheating?

I'm actually serious. People are smurfing and playing with friends that are high elo or just smurfs. Want to hear what others think about this perspective

I stumbled upon an article about boosting in competitive games like Valorant.
While I think boosting isn't really a positive thing (similar to smurfing), they do have a point there in the post. If you happen to have a friend who boosts you - it levels the playing field for those who don't have such connections. Also, it is a better alternative than cheating and their existence can actually bring attention to game developers to actually implement measures to prevent cheating, smurfing, and boosting.
