They were not there as fans, when the casters asked the crowds to cheer for the players, the DVM crowd was huge but did not cheer at all. Fans don't bring pepper spray to a damn LAN event.

Like LocoMonteiro said, the actual CEOs were involved in the original beef, as well as others from the org issued threats on twitter towards JL org members and fans.

A fight started between DVM fans and JL fans, DVM guys brought pepper spray to a LAN event and supposedly beat on some JL guy.
DVM fans arrived at the event in full black, face masks, gloves. I can assure you it is not cold at all in France right now.

Hope the players leave that terrible org and go somewhere better
