The local communities will take time to grow and it's a long term project. It's been 1 split for Italy and Portugal. France, Spain and Turkey are doing great. Balklans were never big into esports culture in the first place. Expectations shouldn't be for EMEA to quickly get League of Legends viewership when CS still owns the region for Tac-FPS. SEA has a similar format and most people think its fine afaik. The viewership of all leagues combined should accounted for.

Polaris, likewise with its League counterpart NLC, is the only one with a fundamental flaw because its like a tier3 version of the main league but it can still be improved. It needs innovating and differentiating itself from other leagues, adding something unique and overall improving production quality + getting casters who aren't boring. Polaris is like the least innovative league.

The separation of leagues is easier for talent from smaller communities to break through. DaviH and tomazsy are perfect examples.

I see this as a none issue. If anything its a positive as Spain will look for Spanish talent rather than known quality imports. The League might be slightly less competitive now but in the long-term its a positive.
