I agree. I definitely think it's a con of this schedule. But if the schedule is limited because of LoL, then I'd rather see playoffs out, more games from teams in the middle, and LCQs in. Also 11 game season SHOULD mean fewer frauds.

the schedule in the arenas seems to be a major issue for Rito. with a couple more super weeks and no playoffs, I think they could swing it, though.

Stage 1:

  • 11 game regional season
  • no regional playoff
  • top 3 from stage 1 to masters 1
  • masters 2 2024 format

Stage 2:

  • 11 game regional season
  • no regional playoff
  • top 3 from stage 2 to masters 2
  • masters 2 2024 format

Post Stage 2:

  • name a regional champ as team with best combined regional record from stages 1 and 2
  • add up champions points from season (+1 region victory, +n region champ, +1 making double elim at masters, +n making podium at masters)
  • top 2 in champions points from each region auto advance to champs
  • remaining 10 from each region compete in regional LCQ where winner advances to champs (multiple byes for top teams and single elim until top 4)
  • teams that finish second and third in regional LCQ advance to a global LCQ just ahead of masters to compete for final four spots at champs (Swiss or double elim)
  • standard champs format

Cons: - no stage playoffs; - 23 games from mibr, bleed, etc
Pros: + at least 23 games from NRG, Loud, NaVi, BBL, etc; + regional and global LCQ sound pretty sick
