Coz Acend ain't making it past Team Liquid
Not sure about KRU vs Gambit tho. If Gambit put up their A game then it cud be an ez 2-0 sweep despite KRU being so good and having the confidence and momentum. But Gambit looked quite underwhelming in groups. So it cud go either way. Depends on who shows up better on the day.

100T have a goal of building a roster with veterans who have tonnes of Pro + LAN experience (Asuna the only exception)
That's why people like jcStani and dephh aren't a good fit for them even though they're pretty good and that's why they prefer CSGO players

No Ethan is probably learning Sova for Fracture, where Hiko would be playing Breach (just a guess)
I don't think Hiko will retire from pro play until he has won at least 1 major. He has said multiple times on stream that he has no intensions of retiring any time soon and I quote his words "you'll have to pry my cold dead hands away from pro play"
He knew the main team is no good anymore but he can't bench them coz of the fan following
So he keeps them as a stream team so they keep making money
And he makes an alt team to actually compete in pro but names it Academy so the main team don't feel bad
