I have faced similar experiences in japan. Although I do believe that some of the reason is he's not NA/EU but I think the major reason is that there's very less POV of him "popping off" so people dont have a set idea on his plays that make him great. there's less VODs of him actually try harding, like you do for many other pros in ranked. The only time he had plenty of screentime is during the finals (his cypher on breeze and chamber on haven) where he went ballistic is when people actually started rating him.

nope, I like em both. These players shine when their team helps them (as they should) but its not always possible, and when that happens, they struggle hard. They're still on the scoreboard like a lurking top fragging duelist but you and I know they dont win maps.
