I dont think vanity realizes how toxic Guard were during their run, even SEN who were dominating with dapr and shaz tbagging were less toxic than Guard. That's why PRX had to go full toxic in return after they eliminated them. its not as easy when you're a new coach and have a fan favorite in your team who just happens to have an ego/ideas that go against your philosophy. Take CR7 as an example, clubs actually fired coaches before letting him go until they realized he was the problem. I believe the same thing happens with Scream. But, his reputation is getting in the mud slowly but surely and he is losing that support which he rides on fast. If he chokes anymore with KC in future LANs, he's out and he wont have people behind him that he can use to bully coaches/orgs.

I personally believe the addition of scream made the whole team go down. yes, he's better than most players but sometimes you just need "good enough" players to make a great team. I still have no idea why he's obsessed with IGL'ing. he frags more, helps the team more, and wins more without IGLing. This obsession ruined TL and will ruin KC too.

He was negative in his initial watch parties but he seems to be doing the analysis in a calm way recently. he does overrate APAC teams so take those with a grain of salt but he's the closest. I can clearly count 4-5 instances where tarik on raze threw rounds by "running it down" and losing the rounds on split. they were playing fine for 2-3 rounds but it quickly became clear that the other team was better. so, shazam and tarik get reali hostile asking them if they're crypto throwing and their usernames. they go quiet and stop comming. basically it completely threw off the whole team chemistry. This is not a tarik thing tho, this happens with many streamers who get hostile against bottom fraggers which leads to them going silent. Another issue is, many of the accounts in high elo are somewhat bought so "buying accounts" isnt necessarily a bad thing but that's an excuse for streamers who dont perform well.

this match exposed their weaknesses, its good for them. they brough the strats out in Map 3 anyway to close it out. so they do have it under control to a certain extent.

why is the delay 30 minutes even after the 2nd match going 3 maps?

both games helped each other. CS was indeed getting stale a couple years ago but when valo came to the scene, it made the distinction better which in turn helped CS to regain its unique identity. The contrast between two games we currently have is healthy for the FPS scene.
