So are only the first seeds from each region making it out of Swiss at this point? I don’t see any of the second seeds beating G2 or DRX. It’s cool to finally have a tournament where every region looks super competitive, but it would be boring to not have any upsets.
I don’t think it’s a problem when every henbabyh post front the last month has been downvoted
Obligatory canes overrated comment
i stand corrected that is legitimately impressive
I don't want to check the vod, but I don't think zekken flashed himself on breach
Sideshow and TMV were watching China, one of them said something that whenever the other complements a team it’s because they treat them like glue eating children with no real expectations. Then it sort of stuck for the rest of their watch parties.
Basically glue = bad.
I think I heard something about them being a duelist with dashes since the last patch changed stuns and slows to universally apply dashes.
Wasn’t the 2021-2022 scheduling mainly because of visa concerns and covid. They did Berlin and Reykjavik twice because of that not necessarily based on viewership but because logistically it was easier.
They were probably the worst team in terms of macro, but scream, nivera, and sh1n were all fraggers.
I know you're talking about zellsis but I can't help but think of fns
With spike I think they’ll be okay but this current roster might have a chance of going winless.
It’s kind of crazy that hsk went from that to winning a masters.
2023 DFM vs 2025 2G
The worst team of all time vs the worst team today
Because it’s data aggregated from sites like twitch and YouTube which aren’t accessible in China, technically you could use a vpn to watch but the vast majority of Chinese viewership will be on sites like bilibili.
Happywei looking like Chinese less, call him shao
I think he’s flag banned, every other post is americuck or calorie. I think an American stole his gf or smth
Good teams tend to win 🤯

You’re probably just awake during the wrong hours to see China believers.
its just been unfortunate that the last few international events have all been at pacific locations, Shanghai -> Seoul -> Bangkok. It's not possible for a timezone to be good for everyone, it just sucks that its been almost a year since we've had an event that lines up well for America.
base 10 pilled. Can't believe you left out 0 essential for things like y0y
What do people define as flex now, since a lot of teams now have multiple players that play different roles on different maps because of how viable double controller, initiator, sentinel, and duelist are?
shahzam
skrossi
d3ffo
seoldam
wardell
his face is swollen after throwing hands with verno trying to defend fns
Fake that sounds scandinavian not british
I feel like chichoo and nobody improved a lot since their initial debuts. 2023 to 2024 tenz improved a lot. Cauanzon has been constantly getting better. Munchkin had a huge improvement last year. For 2025 Keiko if he keeps up his kickoff form, and Dgzin if you count him (2023 he was not this good but he spent 2024 in t2).
I think it’s because the level of pros is generally close than it looks and it’s a lot harder for a player to suddenly jump up in skill level when everyone is constantly improving. The biggest jumps in my opinion are when good players change their roles and look more comfortable. Also I think t2 emphasizes individual improvement where as t1 looks at good individuals to improve their team play.
It's not that either were horrible players, it's that they weren't good enough to warrant making this team international, especially with the amount of t2 thai talent.
True riot should force tenz to play in this tournament and kick out G2 and Vitality for loud and fnc so we can have the same exact narratives from 2023.
It’s adding up they had to drop natank for the import slot
Technically acend stayed together for like 5 matches but yeah I see edg breaking the curse
Am I stupid or is this the percent of cheaters caught? Isn’t this detection bias, we should assume there should be a similar level of cheaters in both games and the anti cheat that is performing better would indicate that it’s doing a better job?
where is this valorant simulator and what kind of data was it trained on for a double upset of the two best teams by the two worst teams?
Honestly I can see the vision with xset cause they could run the same comp as eg. Zekken plays raze cryo plays Jett. Have cryo flex to smokes on raze maps, zekken can go initiator and bcj to smokes. Would’ve been interesting but unfortunately there’s no world where sen signs the most cloutless roster and benches tenz. But part of me thinks that they weren’t built for the meta of 2023, especially dephh being insistent on igling from smokes.
They got 1.2 mil from sen for his buyout and knowing that tenz contract renegotiations would have probably commanded a yay level salary c9 were probably looking to drop him, especially with tenz’s discontent with the orgs construction of teams. C9 made a huge profit instead of having to drop tenz like they did yay for no value.
I don’t think bcj and ayrin were the move. Bcj being benched turned eg into the best team itw and ayrin sort of floundered on GE. In retrospect I think the xset roster was carried hard by zekken and cryo, despite the narrative around xset being a team that was greater than a sum of its parts.
This is like the third time Ethan’s been stuck in a bad Chem roster in Valorant. Once in 100t and for a second time at nrg. He might be one of the unluckiest players in ending up on teams with internal issues.
They didn’t find tenz he was signed as a content creator from their cs team. Signing a mid cs player and having him turn into one of the biggest Val pros is pretty lucky.
Chamber got nerfed 3 months before yay was dropped. C9 wasn’t really blind sided by this change, they just seemed to have no faith in the team and dropped yay because he wasn’t worth the price for the results they were getting.
Is there even any interesting tech besides walking in the drone?
I’ve heard different things about rossy being dropped was he toxic or just that he treated esports like a 9-5 and was sort of aloof from his teammates?
