I don't think I could give you a definitive best team in the world, especially in the middle of a huge tournament like this. We'll have to wait and see how things play out, and then we can look back and decide the best team of 2023 in a purely subjective manner.

Don't be so sure just yet. They have to play EDG, a team with a very resilient mental and a knack for pulling crazy plays out of nowhere, and if they win they still face any of the bottom bracket teams, which are all very heavy contenders to win it all.

Foxy9 should NOT be playing anything that's not sentinel. He was put on duelist, then on perma Viper, then on sentinel, and now he's on flash initiator. I don't know why he's been put on every single role in the past year, but he looked by FAR the best on sentinel. He was super comfortable on Killjoy and Cypher, and was not only playing off his util well but putting up numbers doing it as well. I just don't get why DRX aren't putting him on his comfortable role, especially when they originally signed Flashback as a flex player (I think).

These lists seem to be trending

Sentinels haven't gone to map 3 because they either win 2-0 or lose 0-2. It's because they're a team that's very driven by mental and momentum. If they're in it, they'll win it, but otherwise they fall flat on their faces.

Some of their players didn't look great, yeah. But EDG was probably the worst matchup they could've gotten (they know exactly how Trace plays and have beaten them countless times) so I wouldn't look too far into it when judging their ability

• Omen's smokes only last 9 seconds if they're not in direct contact with the ground. In other words, smokes are 15 seconds and oneways are 9 seconds
• Astra might be a bit overtuned, yeah, but I don't think she necessarily has an edge over others when it comes to cooldown. Imagine this: instead of 5 stars, she has 2 smokes with one recharge, 1 stun, and 1 suck. This is essentially the same thing
• It's very easy to weave in and around of Harbor's ult stun circle as-is. The majority of the time it's not getting anyone off the site, it's just making them move around a little. It's pretty underwhelming as-is, so decreasing the amount of time it takes for you to get stunned forces opponents to either tank the stun or respect the ult
