They're going international, I've heard
I'm only adding officially released information from orgs/players, just to minimise confusion 👍
The USMNT has been rough to watch lately tbh, but hey, things are improving. They beat a Japanese side in September that would go on to beat Brazil a month later. They haven't lost any of their last 3 friendlies (albeit losing all of the previous 3 to Türkiye, Switzerland, and Korea respectively). It should only be up from here, hopefully
That being said, Portugal are literally a point away from qualifying and France's biggest problem was Iceland (who they've already played twice) so it should be smooth sailing from them
Biggest contenders right now are Argentina, Spain, Morocco, and France. Argentina and Morocco have already qualified, European qualifiers start later so the only UEFA side in the World Cup so far is England
Bump!
C9 // -mitch
All of the Ascension teams have been added/rermoved as well :)
Idk about now tbh but the last big World Cup qualification window starts in about two weeks so if you're interested in football then definitely check that out :)
I'll do one for each region
Americas: qck (he is not a bad player by any metric, underperforming when you have to fill aspas' shoes is to be expected and he shouldn't be mocked endlessly because of it. He's a great player who can do great things in the right system)
EMEA: SpYzera (nobody talks about this guy but he's such an insane aimer. He spent the last two years flexing and he's very talented. I don't see any org going for him but he'd be an amazing first Lebanese player in tier 1)
Pacific: Lmemore (not much to say about this one, he's always really impressed me and after getting cut so abruptly last year he hasn't found a new tier 1 team, which is a real shame for a player of his quality)
CN: YOU (he's a player that has proven he can get his team to a Masters in the new age of the game. Come on, the drama happened almost a decade ago, we can let it go now, this is a player that deserves to stay in tier 1)
They'd just have to remove one of those players from their roster before Kickoff
XLG won Ascension 2024 with Kr1stal and Rarga but had to remove Kr1stal because of this
They ended up dropping Kr1stal, MarT1n, and MrCANI for YOU, Viva, and coconut
kamo is most likely still on the roster
Other three could be anybody tbh. I've seen just about every EMEA player mentioned at some point, as well as some others including tuyz
He has 39 games with starkk and 4 games with Avez, I think you're reading into this too much tbh
At least it's not Grim
alym has already reached a verbal agreement with FURIA
I'm ngl dude this might've been funny without the haha.
I hope cauan and tuyz also get better, both are great talents that I feel have been wasted this past year or two
You're correct but Azzelastia is American so he don't know that
blowz is better than cauan right now but it's kinda hard to judge any player in LOUD's current system (also he spent the last split of the year playing Breach Vyse for some reason)
My Brasil lineup was a bit nostalgic tbh, there's no reason I should have Less over luxko right now but I just have faith in things getting better </3
You just named two duelists and two sentinels. The point of this thread is to make a team, not to list the 5 best players from every country
You don't know the capital of Slovenia, let alone any country in the Pacific Ocean
aspas cauanzin artziN pANcada Less

"My flag" brother you can't even point to Papua New Guinea on a map
Literally everything about modern society
I didn't think about igl tbh, I'm just going off who I think would be best in their role. Though now that I think about it, I think Antidote would have to igl
Venka/Jerrwin
rawfiul/Hoax
Lightningfast
Techno/Paradox
SkRossi/Antidote
Why on earth would Verno play Harbor if his team with Mazino on it
With what we said in mind, getting "a good duelist" and putting Eggsterr on Omen doesn't make sense. He's a Yoru player; keep him on Yoru. If you want to run double duelist on some maps then a flex like Victor can make that possible
Welcome to the club, brother. Been waiting for 2 years
You can't have an LFT post without the region you're playing in
The ultimate isn't what makes an agent broken, it's the their signature. Yoru still has the ability to teleport across the entire map, so I don't see why he would see any less play, especially with flash initiators leaving the meta
Yoru hard nerf mostly
What was hard nerfed and why would it affect his pickrate?
I'll answer your question by asking its inverse: why would Yoru be bad now?
VCT China held in China, Chinese org ascends
It just HAS to be rigged
The REAL day 1's have been there since Bayer Neverlosen
I don't see why it can't be Asuna Yoru, Timotino Iso, bang Omen, Cryocells Cypher. Let Asuna do the W keying and let Timotino and Cryocells take their fights
You can do what I do and save yourself the headache by going by VLR flag
Malaysia: d4v41
I challenge you to name another Malaysian pro without looking one up
Rematches are only exciting if they have a) a storyline or b) a lot more on the line. a isn't guaranteed but b certainly is, thus both teams will be trying harder.
Also yeah, it does make it harder to get out of certain groups in some cases, but my argument is that if you want to win, you have to beat the best (and this is already the mentality for a lot of Champs-qualifying teams)
That would be a round robin, not a swiss stage
I don't see the argument for rematches being bad tbh
Guys this is NOT that hard to understand
"If they end up doing a 16-team swiss stage in Champs, they should let the 3-0 teams pick which opponent they get, then the 3-1 teams, and then the 3-2 teams"
That being said, I disagree with the though that Champions should even use a swiss stage, I think the group stage format is a lot better personally
