Maybe, yea. Also I think the last time I mentioned it was here: https://www.vlr.gg/post/3996746/vlr-come-urgent/#6
(Also as of now I've pretty much decided on Neon)

Not usually, but I did post two different lineups (Deadlock wall and Viper setup, both for Abyss B), and I asked for thoughts on a comp idea as well (remember that Lotus comp with Fade KAY/O Harbor Killjoy I was talking about?)
Can't wait either. Man, Talon looks SO much better than when they were running Jett Raze Yoru on Split last year. Genuinely can't wait to see what they can achieve in 2025
Thanks but I ddn't know why you'd respect it. The only reason I play back is because I don't have the stamina to do anything else, and the only reason I play right wing is because I can't kick with my left foot to save my life 😭
Igling on a new map on your debut in a single elimination game while playing Jett and dropping 28 is ABSURD.
Kind of. Analysts focus on how their team and the enemy team plays, and comes up with counters and fixes and such in order to help the team win. I'm more interested in the actual agents and maps and stuff like that. Like for example, I'd think "this comp looks super viable on this map", while an analyst might think "this comp works well with the way our team plays, and it can pull off these strats in order to counter the way certain teams like to play the map"
Haven't played in a positional setting in a long time (usually it's just me and a bunch of friends kicking around a ball), but I was usually a right wing defender or midfielder
Yeah, VALORANT theory crafting. Probably should've specified. Basically theorizing different ways of playing maps, how certain agents go together, how you could use certain comps on different maps, etc.
Meh. I don't care, gimme fun agents :>
I love taking long walks, spending time talking to friends, watching informational YouTube videos, and playing football/soccer. I also like reading, writing, sudoku, theory crafting, and graphic design (mainly logos, brand identity, and UI)
The last five agents have all released super underwhelmingly so if this next one's an instant meta shaker you know I'm all for it
Brimstone on Pearl? I like the idea, but it feels like the kind of off-meta idea only teams like FUT would be interested in
Also now that I think about it people are just gonna run Omen on Pearl. Because people run Omen on every map that they can run Omen on at this point
What's mouse latency? Preferably in layman's terms as the Google search I did didn't give me much info
s0m, tuyz, valyn, and Mazino are definitely the four horsemen of Harbor in Americas
Is there any real difference between DPIs? Like for example, is 0.4 @ 800 any different than 0.8 @ 400 or 0.2 @ 1600?
I was gonna make a suggestion but this one takes the cake
Definitely a possibility, but I'm not super inclined to agree. Fighter's name is Bassam Alzahrani, which doesn't match any of the names on Liquipedia. Either way, I don't think it's really fair to assume that kind of thing, because I'm sure Fighter's a great player as well
Agreed, but we don't actually know why he's on the roster instead of Akai. Maybe Fighter's contract isn't up. Maybe Akai didn't want to join The Ultimates. Maybe there were complications with the legal stuff. Could be a bunch of different factors. That being said, though, I hate to see Akai not play in Ascension, especially when he's the sole representation for the Emirates.
Agreed. But then again, The Guard
That's actually really cool. I didn't know pros and analysts were willing to just straight up accept lineups and setups and such. I might DM a few, who knows
The Team Falcons VALORANT roster that qualified to VCT EMEA Ascension this year has been acquired by The Ultimates, a Saudi Arabian esports org who dropped the majority of their previous roster after falling to Team Falcons 3-0 in the Grand Final of Major 2 of Saudi eLeague 2024. They will be playing in Ascension Berlin under The Ultimates' name and banner.
The team currently consists of SpYzera, Sand, KHaaLiD, and Moh from the old Team Falcons roster. As for Akai, he wasn't picked up, but instead Fighter, who is the only remaining player from The Ultimates' old roster, will be their duelist.

I usually just go with a good ol' tomato sauce with a decent amount of herbs put into it
That's a decent idea (albeit it would be 4 groups of 12, I think) but you're right, that would take too long, even if Champs is in October
True, but how else are you meant to run a single elim tournament with 48 teams?
You do know LOCK//IN is single elim, right? The way Riot would probably do it is give the 16 Champs teams from this year byes, and then just play the same LOCK//IN format with an extra round
I would be SO down for another LOCK//IN next year, that's an amazing idea
Oh, interesting. Do you have a source on that, if you don't mind?
QutionerX to NAVI means either ardiis or Zyppan is getting dropped. If Sayf is retiring I can see Zyppan going to Vitality; as for ardiis, I have no idea
They did NOT win Icebox because of "guys go kill"
...what do you mean, incapable of leading a team in difficult situations? Have we already forgotten LOCK//IN? 3-11?
If DRX can manage to actually keep a roster together for more than four months they'll be major contenders
To be honest, I'm not too worried about about swiftplay and spike rush when it comes to smurfing, because you often get bronzes, plats, and ascendants in the same lobby regardless. It's unrated and competitive where it's a massive issue, and I fully agree that it is something that needs to be fixed.
It's the shape I like. I love the flatness it has in comparison to spaghetti or spaghettini which are round all the way around
3 Americas teams in the top 3 is kinda wild tbf
