Probably going to be a good Omen map, every map is a good Omen map pretty much and the close corners/verticality will allow for all the typical Omen plays

Give me a 5 map with 5 OT gigabanger series

Love CGRS, bring that man back to tier 1

posted 10 months ago

FPX need two things right now. To improve their defense (their attack looked stellar) and cut the Clove on Icebox. Unless Life just stops playing Clove like he's on Jett. The amount of times he pushed on defense like he had a dash was stupid. I'm REALLY looking forward to FPX's Haven. NathanD and berLIN will cook up something insane I just know it.

I still think they should've benched Ethan or crashies instead of Marved

posted 10 months ago

Benjy and Meteor are about on par with each other. Both have had many insane performances this year and are the top 2 sentinels in the world. As for this Masters I think wo0t > t3xture, both have had unbelievably good maps and a few maps where they went quiet. But wo0t is just mechanically unreal at times.

GenG's map pool is just so good I don't think they need to save Ascent for last

Americas: SEN, NRG, EG, LOUD (hope LOUD make a comeback, would love to see Jawg popoff, NRG needs to quality for the BLG rematch and memes)
EMEA: TH, NAVI, FNC, KC (about time we see NAVI again, hope FNC make a comeback but they might never peak again)
APAC: GenG, PRX, DRX, RRQ (these 4 would have the most exciting matches, hope T1 doesn't steal another spot)
CN: FPX, BLG, Trace, JDG (EDG are washed, give someone else a chance)

posted 10 months ago

If GenG lose tonight, will APAC disband?

posted 10 months ago

It won't be until Champs that we'll know for sure. FPX impressed everyone around the world with their performance in Shanghai. Their growth since Madrid is honestly crazy. Washed EDG getting the top seed instead of FPX makes CN look even worse than it is lmao.

posted 10 months ago

Wo0t plays Jett like she wasn't ever nerfed lmao. His mechanics are genuinely unbelievable on Jett and Raze. TH def need to go the double duelist route.

posted 10 months ago

GenG going on a fucking run in front of a Chinese crowd that is biased against them and for APAC to get their first trophy after GenG choked in their previous finals is a story in my book

posted 10 months ago

Nah the level of play in VCT right now is just hella weird, feels like anyone could beat anyone at this point. Format/schedule has to be fucking people up.

posted 10 months ago

Florescent is overrated as shit

posted 10 months ago

Sentinel: Meteor, leaf, Benjyfishy (alfajer and foxy9 were also pretty great)
Duelist: Texture, Miniboo, Aspas or Jinggg
Initiator: Lakia, Riens, Leo
Flex: Tenz, Cryo, N4RRATE
Controller: bang, Karon, Mako

posted 10 months ago

I think 100T are winning solely because their map pool is better. Their permaban of Lotus kinda fucks TH over.

OP's choices would be the good ending, unlikely though

My predictions: SEN, NAVI, DRX, FPX. Americas is a tossup, lots of potentially strong teams but I feel like SEN has had the most time to cook something. A renewed NRG might not look great right off the bat. GenG going deep into Shanghai is a debuff, we saw how it affected them post-Madrid and I feel like they're going to get burnt out soon. I have faith in NAVI and FPX since FNC and EDG are mentally shot.

"whzy is playing some of the best valorant he's ever played" - china analysts
'fraid its over for NRG kek

posted 10 months ago

Who were better than DRX internationally from Champs 2022 to Sao Paulo other than OpTic and LOUD? If it wasn't for those really damn good teams Pacific would have gotten their trophy already.

posted 10 months ago

EG
KC
RRQ
BLG, Wolves or TEC (RNG region)

posted 10 months ago

I think we're going to see changes for C long

posted 10 months ago

Now that Breeze is out and Fracture isn't going to be back for awhile I think it largely depends on what the new map is going to be like. We're definitely going to see more Neon picks on Sunset. Haven/Icebox are possible but entirely sure on. Probably more Neon play on Lotus.

posted 10 months ago

now that Demon1 is gone, who's the new King of Hell?

posted 10 months ago

I can't see RRQ above DRX. 4th place is as high as I'd go. We won't really know until we see what the team cooks up but Talon is looking nice enough to make Champs.

posted 10 months ago

I mean it's nearly impossible to rank China lmao. Top 5 are obvious but beyond that it's a toss up.

posted 10 months ago

I feel like Texture doesn't have the playstyle to excel on Neon

posted 10 months ago

val fans were on their way to cancelling FNS for calling Clove "she" lmao

posted 10 months ago

I feel like RRQ is going to be better than TS and have a higher chance of qualifying for Champs. I think T1 is making roster changes if they flop again in Split 2. I'm surprised they haven't already,

Tyloo can't be 7th, right? They gotta be lower than that.

posted 10 months ago

Honestly hope TEC makes champs just to see rb again

posted 10 months ago

Nah. We know who the top 3 in Pacific are so the 4th spot will probably be contested between Talon and RRQ.

posted 10 months ago

heard China is looking for more imports

posted 10 months ago

Wtf are those Iso changes

posted 10 months ago

Solo is definitely one of the best coaches out there right now, GenG are an incredibly well prepped and disciplined team.

posted 10 months ago

Tenz is the best player in the world lil bro, you think p0nc0d0 could last a day in his shoes?

posted 10 months ago

GenG has a higher chance of lifting a trophy in their first year together as a team than PRX has had since Copenhagen lol

posted 10 months ago

send yay to EMEA to save that region

posted 10 months ago

GenG has played amazing VALORANT all year, it has to be them. Their coordination as a team is pretty incredible. SEN has had many amazing series this year, but GenG has remained more consistent and the sheer number of rounds/maps they've played is insane. Despite many of their matches going to 3 maps they rarely fail in high pressure games.

posted 10 months ago

yeah

posted 10 months ago

They need Wonyet

posted 10 months ago

Tenz is the GOAT

posted 10 months ago

If Shanghai ends up with the same script as Madrid (GenG 0-2 SEN then lose to SEN in GF) with GenG getting an 0-2 victory over 100T just to choke against them in the GF I'm going to be so pissed

posted 10 months ago

if this ends up being G2 vs 100T it will be the worst Grand Final ever

posted 10 months ago

Map pool favors GenG

posted 10 months ago

I legit thought they moved away from Reyna after Madrid. Reyna on Breeze makes zero sense. I think moving away from Cypher comps is impacting them too.
