ch0t in shambles after seeing bonkar lift the trophy
The most impressive part about this is bonkar ngl
they weren’t playing that good in kickoff which is why many people ranked them as the worst team even if they had very good players on paper
imagine if tejo was meta and brawk abused him like trent did…. dude would be the most hated player
they’re playing super solid as a team, knows when to manage their ults better than anyone else rn. odin is just a bonus
they were not good enough that’s pretty much it
it’s a shame mibr has financial issues, we could’ve seen these two teams go at it more
he won’t be considered as the goat unless he constantly makes international appearances like aspas chronicle, and seeing the direction NRG are going, very likely we will see him in at least 2/3 international events if not all 3
fun fact: every 4th placed team in champions since 2022 are previous masters winners
2022 - FPX (Copenhagen)
2023 - FNC (Tokyo)
2024 - SEN (Madrid)
2025 - PRX (Toronto)
g2 could probably win an international trophy if every americas team made playoffs
theyre only really good on 4 maps - their haven is hella inconsistent
unironically g2’s abyss comp but with a vyse instead of chamber, it fits their roles well, or they could switch out the tejo with chamber but that tejo comp looks so annoying to deal with
drx wasn’t rated that much higher than NRG
unlucky for you abyss will be played in the finals 😭
upper bracket team tends to play the other team’s permaban as the 3rd pick
while your solution is a good alternative, i think rewarding the team with a double map ban is a good compensation for them going undefeated in playoffs til the final. even then the team with the disadvantage could very well win. we saw this with t1 in bangkok, sen in madrid, eg in champs etc
Gambit made two finals that’s why
woah lev’s icon isn’t white anymore on vlr dark mode, i didn’t even realize that
look i think fnatic could very well beat NRG on corrode but there’s a reason that they have the best corrode itw
why did FNATIC first ban corrode in their previous matchup then?
i checked his stage 1 stats and his clutch % wasn’t even that high
what are you even saying? i’m linking a game where “sk0b0t” MVPed against your team
is this assuming that FNC loses?
true, maybe they could win a trophy if they had faced every americas team in an international next time
tbh g2 just play really well against regional teams + nrg didn’t have double map ban whereas they have that now
dort is about to make the biggest comeback
inconsistent on haven this champs, shit sunset, weak bind
fnatic are better on haven and bind so floating sunset isn’t actually all that bad
might have to do with their unfortunate early exit at champs
is loud the third best team of 2023 only because they beat fnc twice at champs and placed 3rd? PRX performed better at tokyo and champs than loud did
s1mon could just play omen, he doesn’t necessarily have to play viper
a masters winner is guaranteed to place 4th place at champions
hes so underrated, did a great job elevating FNC back to the top and helped form chemistry between all their players. by the way, he is also in contention for being the first x2 champion
haven stats are bugged
beyn is supposed to be the one with 1.27 rating on haven not free1ng
i mean yeah of course NRG deserves it? they were the better team in the upper finals and have a good chance to win the trophy with a 2 map ban advantage + they have been impressive this tournament
TH had a decent bounce back at champs but far from what they accomplished in 2024. GENG sadly couldn’t make champions, SEN got grouped in 2/3 events. EDG got top 3 at masters bangkok and struggled in champs. Neither of these teams achieved anywhere near the results they had in 2024
most of the relevant teams from 2024 struggled to do anything in 2025 not just EDG
EDG got top 3 at a masters with their champs roster
depends what NRG bans
