I do too but I look at Asuna and bang and remember the amount of times they've let their team and fans down individually. Boostio is a great IGL but he's a coinflip fragger that the rest of EG had to take care of themselves, I don't see 100T doing that for him internationally.

relying on a system that only functions well with a great IGL (FNS moment), all of that should've been tossed during the offseason if Ethan had to learn IGL shit from the start. You can tell that NRG right now are trying to replicate what FNS used to do on OPTIC with all the slow ass defaults, fakes, etc. They tranna copy what made the OPTIC core good without realizing from the start that it wont work with someone fresh to make all the important calls.
They put calling over coordination in their list of priorities with a new and subpar IGL thanks to allat and it makes them look like complete donkeys when it comes to staying on the same page. There are top teams out there that made their rosters work wonders without the complete reliance on the IGL, 2023 EG was one of them. They thought a midround shot caller would function as well as FNS lol.

It's just not happening so don't bother with the fan fiction like new roster changes. They'll try to work whatever garbage they have right now out for Split 2 that'll most likely also be a failure. They've been hiding from the most fundamental of issues since offseason up until now, what makes you think they'll bail out in anything now. If Ethan stays being the igl then go figure.
They spent all of the offseason ignoring Raze, realized the decision let SEN qualify over them, then decided to put Demon1 instead of Victor on Raze for just month's worth of scrims until their FINAL map of Split 2 after they stopped lying to themselves and realized they fucked up. This team and their decisions were fucked from the get go loool

This team would've been infinitely closer if Victor Raze was the decision BEFORE Kick Off even happened. They were running Demon1 Jett 24/7 in that tourney for a reason, they thought they could make the comps work without the agent and then they realized it was a failure so they spent the month between Kick Off and Split 1 with Demon1 Raze. They failed from the get go and they're realizing it now whether they want to admit or not. There's other massive issues tbf but their confidence right now wouldn't be this bad if they weren't fucking up offseason decisions.

he's literally the head coach and greenlighted Ethan to IGL what? you think he doesn't have the final say in a decision like that? are you stupid? ANY head coach that's progressive enough to realize that this team needed to function without a heavy IGL like FNS if we're picking up Ethan to IGL would've made this superteam work enough to at least qualify to a major lmfaooo.
the problem I pointed out is the fundamental issue, Chet tried to 1:1 replace Ethan (a new IGL) with FNS when that should've been avoided. He isn't a coach that's progressive, he sticks to what he knows, thats all there is to it.

"anymore" is crazy, forced an IGL centric system on a first time IGL because that's all he knew how to do with FNS and now look whats happening. forced Demon1 Raze for pretty much all of Split 1 to "get some reps in" until he realized his star player has been looking like dogshit and now on their last match he took him out of it. I genuinely don't think FNS made this man think for himself until he left the team.
i wish i could support a team that didn't make the most obvious and consistent lurks because its the only dogshit strat they're comfortable doing
