I sorted by ADR, took into account HS% and ACS, while considering the entire event including groups, to me the top performances this trny are -

1. forsaken
2. alfajer
3. marved
4. sayf
5. ardiis

honorable mentions to cryo, derke, and suygetsu, they all doing good but not on those 5's level imo, marved will be the unpopular opinion, but his stats are nearly identical to alfajer, on a larger sample size

All the other NA teams had the same chances at the start of the season to collect circuit points, if they deserve it more than XSET, why they didnt get them points my man?

Guild squeaked 2 close wins out, DRX smashed them on their favorite map. DRX is 94-10 W/L record. 9-7 at intl events. Guild is 19-9 W/L, 2-2 at intl. maybe you should reconsider the comparison. I get it, but it's not accurate. no1 is saying DRX is worthy of being champs though, they have the potential to be, thats all people are recognizing - Guild doesnt have the potential to be champs.

by the way they handled optic on fracture, the skill is there. but they are not multi-dimensional enough, the point about midrounding is very accurate imo, they have by far best set strats and cheese, but they are not top mid round team. luckily they do have some clutch tho

ive been a vs/drx fan since game started, imo they have been the best team all along but they have choked at the intl trnys so far and so thats unproven. they may prove it this time, they look sharper than they have and they've seen more stability in the roster and org support recently than they have had in past

valo will never equal cs in viewership, its not a problem, its still healthy numbers, money will still show up

the main problem is drx wasnt nervous like they have previously been in the big matches, they have lost several due to nerves now and are getting more comfortable. that and no1 on optic played great, they are known to be slow starters

Optics Icebox has been shit the bed for a while not sure what happened, they were really good at one point on it, its a chamber map and they have a top 5 chamber, but yay never frags hard on it now lately, unless I missed something

The problem for DRX isn't beating teams like PRX, it's been mostly the DRX show when its Asia vs Asia. Any time DRX has to play EMEA, BR, NA teams that they have less experience playing against their different playstyle/comp meta - that is when their protocols dont seem to be designed to counter as well as they are vs Asian teams. The individual skill level is there so they can hang, but ultimately they've been coming up short against the best intl teams because in my opinion, lack of experience playing against that style of play. While I normally can't stand Thorin or any of his takes, he may have a good point here, however all DRX need to do is to win some more matches and get that deep tourney run in so they can start building that experience, and start proving that stain thorin wrong
