Your proof they have a different approach is by naïvely saying "They have the exact same setup as every other team in the tournament"

U literally just proved that all they have is the same as everyone else, U don't know anything new, just stop talking, go outside and touch grass for a bit.

Before anything, it's only to further inform people

But, Onur was actually looked at for coaching LOUD, before it got given to bzka, Source: https://www.dexerto.com/valorant/valorant-coach-onur-accuses-loud-of-discrimination-in-roster-announcement-1755424/

We likely won't know why, but if u are looking at Onur personally, he may not "look the best" but neither did Chet saying that xerxia played horribly and that they shouldn't have won at masters, Everyone has bad moments but if u let that define someone then your just as bad as the person who is supposedly so bad. This is due to you reacting over the 1 overly negative thing they did, just like Chet did with xerxia and so did Onur in the dextero post above

The only thing Chet was doing was reacting negatively due to his team not winning when they really should have, same with Onur when loud didn't appreciate him and then dropped him from consideration, So really if u look at Chet and/or Onur negatively for reacting negatively when something didn't go there way when all Onur and Chet wish to do is drive their team to the world stage and success, u are very naive

TL:DR, 1 bad thing does not define a legacy, and if u let it define a legacy of someone, u are either jealous or envious of the player, I'm not accusing anyone here, but if the shoe fits.

"i feel kru will bring a different approach" i presume is what your trying to say here, but what u don't seem to understand is that Onur their old coach was that new approach, now he's gone to levi and he's pushing them through group stage like they are the best team here and have been for a while.
Kru don't have any new ideas and if they get some it has to come from the team which won't be nearly as good as, imo an international coach that has gotten 2 underwhelming (so far) teams to champs very promisingly, So i ask, Where will the "new ideas" come from

coach diff honestly,
Onur = gone

u say gambit had a tough time, soulcas was dealing with a dying family member, jampii has been wanting to go back to csgo and l1nk got stolen from them right before the lcq, no matter how many "issues" gambit had, tl had issues as well.

Focusing on the issues won't change the result, it'll just make u willow away in self pity, i wanted gambit to win but they didn't deserve to win after how well tl were playing, i dislike it because i feel tl are less likely to be consistent in lan, but i still wish them luck since they played better

TL:DR no need to find issues, it won't change anything, tl played better this year, if gambit are better they will find a way to show that next time, People forget that everyone is a professional and teams can lose sometimes, All good.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean, Lets be real for a second
They had internal issues due to knowing they were gonna lose l1nk, they found a fix for it,
Soulcas is currently going through a horrific situation with his father having leukemia,
jampii is fighting his inner csgo demons and had wanted to return to cs. (whether he still does i honestly don't know)

if u put all of that together (and i may of missed some things) then it's absolute craziness that they even qualified in this lcq, against a gambit which u can argue needed 1 sub but still looked very good, and against other really good teams, Like NaVi and G2, Most teams soulcas would look disjointed and dimasick would look disjointed because both were stressed and 1 was a new member, but they still looked very very clean

U mean like every region?
Every region has fans like that, But Japan i hoped in a sense would be different due to the massive levels of respect which take part in their general lives, they are grown up to respect elders and each other very heavily.

where does this have anything at all to do with my point, at all, i didn't bring up their ranking or how "good they are", I brought up the fact they are inconsistent and can hardly win a match in vct, because they are playing against other people as good as them and they crumble under pressure unless mada is there to carry them through the pressure and keep their heads calm, They win hardly any "big games", like their run now they beat v1 and sen to qualify, both arguable inconsistent as well, sen are just playing badly but v1 just messed up and couldn't play very well against them, that doesn't mean they are a team which consistently wins, they lose against teams like complexity and tsm randomly while they play, that's not a "consistent t1 team" a consistent t1 team would playing badly beat tsm and complexity, u wouldn't ever see optic losing to them, u wouldn't ever see c9 losing to them, u wouldn't see gambit losing to them, they are consistent t1 teams, gambit questionable right now, but still

posted about 2 years ago

TGRD were also a new roster when they came into the scene and although they were new they got far in vct, people couldn't fight them and didn't know what they were gonna do, that doesn't make them consistent or good yet, they still need to prove themselves again this year, because frankly the second optic fought them once they lost consistency against them, now that t1 teams have some of faze's plays, it'll be different, how different is down to whether the teams think they are a threat or not.

A
TGRD
XSET
100Thieves
NRG (Purely because tsm and ghost aren't meant to be there)
B
(the group which actually looks like it's a vct tourney)
1st optic/c9
2nd optic/c9
3rd Sentinals (i wouldn't rate them so highly but i feel like even at their worst they can beat luminosity eg and faze)
4th, Depends, Either EG or Faze, Depends who wants it more, both level teams and EG just changed a lot, different approach takes time to get used to but it also confuses teams you've always played against (jawgemo on jett)

posted about 2 years ago

faze was a fluke, looked like they were trying their hardest to qualify and still barely did, if that's them at their best optic playing badly would beat them
NRG have 2 or so players who don't take it serious enough to get to VCT and even if they do they can't practice enough before it to properly compete imo

i drop like max 60k on gridshot 3x3 and am still p2, i don't really rely on my aim, i focus on movement and info to force enemies into mistakes usually, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't

And realistically, u can speculate all u want, u can theorize why a team is good or bad, but realistically the only person who will ever get it truly right is a ceo or a manager or a coach who really cares for the team, that is what is hard to find in esports, players can be complete assholes but if they get guided to a better path they can become anything they want, yk

posted about 2 years ago

i mean i got info that some of the akrew boys (back before they were akrew) joined a plat maximum val tourney and shit talked the whole time and just made it overall a disgusting tournament because they were being such assholes the whole time, personally i'd love to see them win and go further but their ego and toxicity is something that people really need to be aware of if they wanna support a team imo.
Neon seems like an amazing player on paper but he chooses to not discipline himself in situations he needs to, i believe if the boys found a coach they believe in and trust to show them the path to success, they could easily be something special (imo like some teams like The Guard), but right now they are lost and searching for something that even they don't understand

it's always the same people i see coming to these banter tweets and seeing it as toxicity, no realistic team thinks what they say after the match, good teams talk after winning the tourney, bad teams talk after winning a game they shouldn't, because they feel pumped they won and don't know how they did

another issue, Higher elo usually lower sense is better since people stand still and don't run and gun, if ur like anywhere below diamond i'd go for a higher sense since people do actually just try to run and gun at those ranks still

When LG lose i'm waiting for the rematch, V1 looked horrific against LG that day, and LG looked good and still LG could hardly win maps out

Guard are heavily reliant on being individually good and can change their entire strat up in 0.5 seconds, they are basically a hard counter to Sen, Dapr, sick and zombs are 50/50 for aim, Tenz and shaz are good at aiming, Sen rely heavily on set pieces and everything to go their way, but they cannot deny anyone pushing now because of astra nerf, other meta's coming back, etc, they worked well when they knew what to do, now that there is different metas and they can't play set pieces anymore it looks like a pro team vs a ranked team tbh, they overpeek, overcommit and overall just try to win aim duels and that isn't how pro play works anymore

If your talking to me, the past proves it, Acend lost in champs to VK, People started strats against VK, Then Acend got a rerun which they then won due to VK "Cheating", At minimum it gives people less time to prepare and at worst, they already had strats against VK and had to put in way more effort to find ones vs acend or they just straight up didn't have any, Then acend pulled out a completely different comp with an omen in it and all 5 players just played phenomenally and couldn't miss a shot vs TL.
My point was that, With DRX, They feel stressed, multiple bigger, stronger, better teams to face, they need to counter strat all of them in their way, While they probably don't even know the first thing about them, Acend hadn't been in big tournaments for ages, no one knew what they were gonna do, WGS wasn't exactly a team which had "known strats" they came for the first vct then didn't even play again till this vct, no one really knew what to expect from them, and then wow, just like acend the bring out a ballsy ass comp which works perfectly, while also playing fantastic, that was the connections i was making between the two

posted about 2 years ago

they are new team like Acend in masters. Gambit, TL, etc, focused on counter stratting other teams rather than the teams which they didn't think would be an issue, Acend became an issue and no one had an answer for them because they didn't even expect to need to play them, probs same situation here

posted about 2 years ago

Neon is not hard to counter in terms of just ingame while u play, but it's not like hann is an insanely good neon, they are very mediocre with them imo, not really valid, DRX just don't see an entry because no matter whether stax gets 4 players, somehow 1 just gets the ace to win the round, it's a big mental situation rn for DRX

posted about 2 years ago

Nothing is really different. Other teams improved, Korea is becoming a lot more competitive and DRX just don't have an answer, even if they don't lose to strats, even if WGS completely fail somehow still 1 of WGS just clutches it up, U can't really counter that, WGS just playing well rn, Nothing changed with DRX
My thought is that Buzz's brim pick is to counter strat WGS probably, and if that's so and DRX are still getting destroyed, It's a scary situation for DRX

Navi is Ukrainian, Has spoken out about the war, FPX i believe is Russian or Chinese based but doesn't actually have any financial support or sponsors from Russia, No support from the Russian government, Difference with Gambit is that they have a Russian sponsor, Are based in russia and Vladimir putin has actively supported other russian esports teams when they won other events in the past (proof https://afkgaming.com/dota2/news/russian-president-vladimir-putin-congratulates-team-spirit-for-ti10-victory)
I know it's a thin line, but the basic difference is that Gambit have alignments within Russia and get financial support from Russian companies, Navi and FPX don't, The problem that Riot supposedly has with Russia is the government, and Russia's economy, due to the ukrainian conflict, not the everyday people, so as long as they drop the sponsor which they have done by competing under an international flag rather than Russia's, It drops support for Russia and financial gain doesn't lead to Russia.
Feel free to prove me wrong
