He was, he has said that he wanted qck for Aspas' replacement. In louds videos around the mid season, saadhak even talked about giving more control to coaches for the mid season. It would make no sense for 2 new untested coaches in t1 to have more control over the team than the establish veteran world champion IGL.

my brother in christ, saadhak was the one in control of the roster and many of the meta decisions for the first half of the season, their only good result was a fourth place at madrid because they played both of the CN teams who played INCREDIBLY poorly, and previous to that it was because no one understood the weaknesses of their comps yet in Americas.

"Only reason" lists 2 reasons, doesn't even talk about how LOUD were behind the meta the entire year. LOUD was shit because they lost their identity after Aspas and Frod left, and they didn't do a good job of reinventing themselves.

uhhh... no? I just mean your downfall needs to be studied, u went from being generally ok vlr user to average vlr user in like 2 weeks

I swear kalayavs downfall from being as decent as any vlr user can be to this needs to be studied

multitude of reasons, one being NRGs terrible performances this year, and another being how outclassed it seems he is by other initiator players. C0m, Sacy, Trent, Nzr, Verno, and some other players just seem better than him.

posted 2 months ago

on the contrary, they very much have performed, they won a trophy this year, they are major contenders for champs, all of the players have shown up through various parts of the year.

LEV was not Ass at the start of the season, they had 2 decently close losses during kickoff with SEN(madrid winners), and LOUD(madrid 4th). LEV lost to C9 and then dominated the rest of split 1. They had slow starts, but they werent "ass" they were average.

Thats not a mistake, thats just how map picks work T-T. BLG banned haven(BLGs worst map, also FNCs best) so FNC picked lotus, their second best map. I would say they played better than what most people expected. But as someone who watched all of their games. I think they underperformed, if they can get some of their fundamentals up to speed I think they could make playoffs again

uk I don't understand why people think Aspas being a baiter is a derogatory term. He's one of, if not the best operator players in the world. LEV utilize his op on attack and defense. ofc hes not going to be able to entry or take the first fight if he is forced to reposition with an operator in his hands. The only reason I disagree with Aspas being a baiter is that the stats people pull up to prove it are extremely flimsy, and from what I have seen of his stats, he has the second highest FKPR in stage 2, which is pretty impressive considering he's played a ton of rounds compared to other teams

LEV is at its best when Mazino is performing, because this guy takes so many risks, if hes performing those risks are paying off and winning LEV rounds.

posted 3 months ago

LEV is not an NA team. But yep rest checks out

posted 3 months ago

LEV are not playing to their peak imo. I'm seeing alot of stuff that I don't normally see from them and they are playing their comps fundamentally wrong a couple of rounds. But lets see if they can recover

posted 3 months ago

There are valid reasons for SEN to be performing worse. However a lot of the time I (and probably S0mp4S0m) see SEN fans use them as copium and excuses to say they are still that top team they were at Madrid. This is an issue I see a lot with many teams fans and it is a BS mentality. If you lose, you lose, fans should know the team is capable of more. Just say you played badly and move on for the next match instead of coping about previous losses. ofc S0mp4S0m is a hypocrite and copes for his own team and then flames others for doin the same thing. So the moral of the story is never listen to that guy. And believe in your fuckin team to improve rather than being afraid that them performing poorly is a constant and they need to be excused for it.

I respect the level of hopium I see here, even if I don't like SEN fanbase.

damn didnt think I'd see you around these parts

in b4 Art0m0s comes to say some SENtimental dogshit

Reverie you fool, you lack patience, discipline, resolve. You know not the true ways of hating. You must bide your time, waiting for the right time to strike. Haters go in when a team is brought low. If you do it like S0mp4S0m you only look like a clown. SEN qualifying to champs means nothing except Riot needs to reevaluate the champs points system. Wait for champs, who knows. They might lose 2-0 to a CN team, just like another washed NA team from last year, I can't seem to remember that teams name tho.

Aspas is the best player itw, of all time. I no longer care for others opinions.

Dw guys, Ill take one for the team and hate on all these people instead

Runi did the macro calls, leaf and zellsis did a lot of the mid rounding and micro stuff.

Uk I’m seein a lot of replies that don’t make sense to me, right next to the percentage of first engagement successes there is a X/X number one on left indicates amount of first bloods number on right is total first engagements. Aspas has the most first bloods out of all of the players and is tied with zekken for first engagements. Also you cant get a ton of firstbloods by being a baiter… that’s literally the opposite of being a baiter. So idk some people either need to elaborate or Im not understanding somethin

Muddiest valorant ever is straight copium when TYL vs TEC exists. CN as a region is pretty scrappy, Sunset was definitely a more muddy map, but Icebox was pretty good from BLG, they destroyed JDG when you realize that JDG got both pistols(which basically equates to +2 rounds for them)

posted 3 months ago

I mean the NRG redemption arc goin kinda crazy rn

posted 4 months ago

its not that they went back to being bad, its that these 5 haven't had a lot of time to prep together, and certain maps are much worse for them than others because they haven't practiced them. If Furia don't dominate on Icebox I'll take what I said here back.

posted 4 months ago

I don't think he is, hes just saying Kingg and Aspas can solo carry matches together

posted 4 months ago

idk how to get this through your head. But Aspas broke the International kill record in a single map in t1 LAN. This means. He got the most kills in a map in all the regional leagues, masters, and champs. It is an international accomplishment

posted 4 months ago

Yes, but if thats what you meant, then you are making your points extremely specific, pointing out Aspas' only "flaws" ofc you can't consider him the goat if you only see his flaws. Same with any other player. Tenz was irrelevant for 2 years, Demon1 is currently benched and performed pretty badly during 2024, the PRX players never won a masters or champs, and Yay has been getting terrible results ever since leaving t1 NA.

posted 4 months ago

my guy.... Im not talking about an individual match. Im talking about him being the OVERALL mvp of the Americas INTERNATIONAL League, he even received a trophy at champs 2023 for it if you were watching the stream for the Grand Finals. Also, international simply means between multiple nations, so maybe specify Masters+Champs or International Tournaments. Also, breaking the international kill record. IS an international accomplishment. so maybe check your literacy???

posted 4 months ago

Ur first point and third point are wrong, Aspas won the Americas International League MVP, and his best and most memorable accomplishment, is dropping 47 kills and breaking the international kill record in T1 LAN, against Sentinels, the team that won the previous Masters.

Yes but wheres the fun in that :(

2022, Aspas was considered the best duelist

2024, Aspas was considered one of the best players

no viper is fine lol, the comp is literally played by FNC(raze in place of neon), who have won pretty much all the games they played it on. The issue is that the comp requires a lot of teamplay and discipline to play, something NRG lacks severely, and they combo their util poorly.

posted 4 months ago

Easily is a stretch. But you can make a case for it.

This bait is truly revelational. One of the most enlightening messages I have ever seen typed. It has brought me to a new level of self-realization. Thank you Sage-Breach, for opening my eyes to such an indelible message.

I think a lot of people may flame you for saying Americas>EMEA after EMEA got 3 teams into playoffs while Americas has 2

brother the coaching staff is pretty good or decent, their anti is really good, and the setplays they have are great, LEV tends to crumble closing out rounds when in advantaged situations, thats less to do with the coaching staff and more to do with the players

posted 5 months ago

idk what you mean by overhype, he is the greatest duelist of all time so far in valorant history because of his consistency and his high ceiling
