last champs Optic beat LOUD in groups, then got stomped 2-0 (26-13) and 3-1 in upper and grand finals. XSET also beat FPX in quarters and got knocked out in the lower bracket rematch. the exact same LOUD lost to FNC a few months ago and recently just stomped the shit out of the map they were previously 13-1 on, rematches seem to favor losers more often than not (though that could be confirmation bias)

the winner of EDG vs BLG plays the loser of LOUD vs PRX, which I think is even worse than playing against EG or DRX
