I don't know if I see him retiring even with all Kat is going through, but could happen
If he played on G2 just let Leaf play Raze in the Raze maps
Maybe Demon1 back to EG? (doubt it since he talked a lot of shit about the org)
I would lowkey fw C9 Marved, benching vanity and putting Runi in the IGL role
Maybe G2 Demon1, even if they do decent in Tokyo, Demon1 is a big upgrade compared to Icy
If not any of these options, they might be fucked for the rest of the year, maybe for their careers even
big upgrade actually, s0m might be back on duelist and he can play literally anything
ANONIMOTUM POSTED THAT FNS AND S0M ARE SET TO JOIN NRG, I MANAGED TO SCREENSHOT IN TIME, BUT HE DELETED IT IN LITERAL SECONDS
qRaxs, wo0t, kiNgg (captain), RienS, yetujey
TÜRKIYE ON TOP
What is or are one of the best nametags in Esports?
I'll go first:
Valorant: Chronicle
CS: dev1ce
LoL: Faker
Let Leaf cook, this guy has probably one of the biggest unexploited potentials I've seen in Tier 1
PRX doesn't get trophies because a team like PRX won't win an international playing like they play. There's always going to be a team that dominates them, 2022 FPX, 2023 EG, 2023 FNC, 2024 SEN. They can be the 2nd best team in the world, but to be the best team in the world, you have to know how to play against PRX, always happens
Arguably. He's such a legend that his name goes beyond any trophy he could win. But I don't know if he "deserves" it rn, he has been missing for a while now
I mean yeah, lots of players "deserve a trophy", but I put only f0rsaken and Jinggg because of their performance and the amount of times they almost felt an international trophy
100 Thieves? Hiko? Who the fuck is Hiko?
Was going to put them but list would be way too long
By deserving a trophy I mean that they should win at least one international before retiring
Johnqt (Duelist)
ANGE1 (Initiator and actual IGL)
Boostio (Sentinel)
Munchkin (Smokes)
kiNgg (Flex)
Would go crazy ngl
"coping now that chronicle has some kind of success" like this guy is not averaging one trophie a year
plot twist: every single LAN tourney is fluked/mickey mouse
I'm the biggest Americas glazer, but LEV and G2 look hot ASS, put americas top 3 and apac top 1
Chronigoat got more trophies alone than your entire region dawg
yes this time
Weren't you wearing a KOI flair before? Where is KOI?
created account only to trashtalk today, what a pussy
FNC 2-1 TH
Fnatic will return to their previous glory
I apologise to asuna for doubting him. Maybe he is truly the goat
Is he actually going to a team? Or was the whole thing a bait?
Just delete the current partnership system and copy the ESL Pro League format. 15 partner teams + 17 open qualifier teams
Wouldn't that be the other way around? They are already vaccinated
Too many personalities, I'd be surprised if they do well in Americas. They need Onur
Right? I don't know why people say "Why Fnatic fans so quiet now", we have always been like that no?
I'd do one better: If you are fan of VIT because of the org, that's reasonable, Vitality has never failed to have players with great personality in their main games. They are currently one of the best orgs, they do charities frecuently, they have a good merch, and even launched a foundation in honor of Twisten. They support the Indian scene in Call of Duty
If you are a fan of the roster, you are there pretty much because of Sayf, he's competitive, loud, but the most important: passionate, and VIT fans love him because he represents what Vitality is. You also think that they could be the best team in EMEA in paper, but when they play you go back to reality and see that they choke at times for no reason
Did I get it right?
I'm a fan since VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers
You could argue that with many teams. People were great then and they're great now, Chronicle, Magnum, crashies, keznit, Xeppaa, leaf, derke, Vision Strikers, Team Envy, Team Secret, etc. 2024's playstyle is closer to 2021 than 22-23, we are going back to those matches favored by the teams with most firepower, obviously the gameplay is much better now tactically, but 2021 best teams had a shit ton of firepower, I think they'd do really decent in today's VCT
Wishing someone wasn't born ≠ Wishing they were dead
I can't put Fnatic above LOUD, I'm sorry. They won 2 trophies in a row and had one of the most one-sided tournaments ever in their Tokyo run. LOUD had more competition, but they would be really close to be first place
Prime EG would absolutely smoke OpTic I'm afraid
More than consistency, we are talking about how dominant they were at their peak. I agree that TenZ improved a lot as a player, but no team had a chance against him on his Masters 1 2021 form. Aspas' prime is hard to decide, but I put 2022 mostly because he won champs (but he was probably the 2nd worst player in the LOUD roster at that time). Demon1 had the best performance by far at champs, and completely transformed EG as a team. Yay was more dominant than Demon1 but I think that EG Demon1 was a much better and flexible player. Alfajer is just there because he's not a duelist, at his prime prime he could probably even be Top 3
LOUD 2023 was a big downgrade from LOUD 2022, they developed a dangerous weapon named cauanzin, but tuyz was a mid table smoker for most of 2022 (even though he's Top 5 controller players right now in 2024). Only notorious thing they did in 2023 was the LOCK//IN grand final, which they fumbled. LOUD was not a team that I expected to win trophies in 2023
EG is fair, but they were a lot more sloppy and lost or suffered against worse teams more than LOUD did (LOUD only lost against KRÜ and OpTic in all of 2022. And post-Demon1 EG lost to: 100T, FURIA, LOUD, NRG, FNATIC, and PRX), I think is safe to say that LOUD was far more dominant than prime EG was, but they are a contender for second place, for sure
OpTic is a core that has adapted to any metas that were given to them in any given moment, they invented most of the map metas in 2022. I think that their prime form would be a top contender to win any throphy in 2024, but they were sloppy and choked for no reason at times (Example: RISE, V1, GUARD, XERXIA, XSET, GUILD, PRX...)
The OpTic core would actually be much better than current NRG, I have no doubts
And I don't know what's wrong with my Gambit pick, I didn't put Acend because they fumbled immediatly after champs. Gambit was probably the first team in VCT history to play the game tactically. You'd put PRX instead? In any given day they'd probably destroy prime Gambit, but if it's a grand final, forget about winning a title
If I put the names only it could be ANY version of the player
Yeah, but we're not talking about their performance throughout the year, we're talking about the best Valorant they've ever played ever as a team. And prime EG is just a bit better than prime OpTic to me. It's not a massive gap or anything, just close, but better
In champs? Surely. Currently? debatable. But prime Alfajer is beyond anything I've seen from a non-duelist player. Less might be just behind him in terms of prime performance
Fair enough, I find that ranking the players is annoying, as some much players had similar dominant performances across their careers. Yay was the most consistent player of 2022, but it's really a tie for me between prime Demon1 and prime Yay
How? TenZ' prime was the most dominant performance in history of Valorant. We are not talking about consistency, we are talking about PRIME. If it was consistency only, Aspas would be the number one, since he's been dominating since 2022, and Yay number two.
Has much credit as you want to give OpTic consistency, nor 3rd nor 9th-16th wins you trophies. EG was less consistent, but much dominant, OpTic bled much more than EG in the playoffs. And EG improved as the year went on, can't say the same about OpTic
