those players werent world class when he first signed them. s0m is the most recent proof of that. the reason why fns is such a respected igl is because he is able to take players that were fairly decent to begin with and mold them into some of the best talents in the scene. sure, you could say the same about boaster in respect to derke and alfajer, but even then, he struggled to win until he signed the talents of chronicle and leo, two already proven star players. the big difference in my pov is that fns was able to win with a roster that was never recognized to be a “superteam” until he turned them into one. on optic, yay suddenly became the most disciplined chamber itw. marved went from a flex igl player on faze to what most considered a top 3 controller last year. vic and crashies improved drastically from their T1 days, becoming one of the greatest duos weve seen in valorant. each player individually stepped up, hut you have to acknowledge that fns played a huge role in that. fns’ accomplishments with the rosters he had were much more impressive than boaster’s which is why he is rated much more highly.

at the end of the day, none of this matters because both fns and boaster are extremely talented and have had some insane accomplishments. we will never know who is truly the better igl but it’s definitely fair to say that they are both top 3 itw.
