At least Chamber required gunplay lmao. What I just witnessed from G2 was a round win without a SINGLE bullet shot. Pure utility win from a game that advertised precise gunplay.

This agent (to no one's surprise) is the most unfun and broken agent I have seen and imo surpasses prime Chamber for pro play (not ranked)

Tejo has the best drone in the game surpassing Sova, Skye, and Fade. Tejo has the best post-plant AND area denial utility by far. Tejo stun is essentially just Neon's but only one area instead of two. This is not fun to watch.

Actual fixes for this agent aside from deleting him:
Nerf the timer of his drone, remove the ability for it to jump, and do not let it suppress abilities from hit targets. It makes no sense how a tiny ass drone jumps higher than a wolf.

Make the rockets a ONE TIME use ability. No CD reset, no reset on every other kill. Just give players one opportunity to use an iPad molly.

The stun is okay, maybe not make its projectile speed so fast.

Smaller width range for the ultimate. It is way too fat.

Introduce agent bans too.

I have two:

I wonder how Wardell would perform now if he continued pro play. At the peak of his career, he was a top three player of NA and even towards the end of his career his talent was among the top.

I also wonder how ScreaM would perform if he never became an IGL and picked up a different main role akin to what TenZ did (not the IGL part ofc). In terms of his CS career, he was only above average amongst the pros and that is because his mechanics were among the top. He was not made to IGL. Unlike Wardell, ScreaM probably was the best EMEA player of his time like what aspas is to the Americas.

Ok nevermind. Aspas is the #1 and #2 player of Valorant 😭

Ah, sorry for misunderstanding. The stats I used were strictly from the playoffs of each Champions (2021-24) year.

2024 EMEA was not bad. FNATIC just happened to go up against LEV (#3) and SEN (#4) who was on form that day. Team Heretics was ridiculously strong as well and they placed #2.

That's not true. There's 15 of them right now playing for the Lakers.

There is no debate that a Lebron of Valorant does not exist right now. There is no one that is close to the metric of Lebron in both achievement, skill set variety, and/or longevity. For reference, Faker is the Lebron of LoL. That is how high that title is. Valorant is too young for us to call anyone Faker or Lebron.

However, if an alien entity decides to descend to Earth on the 19th of March and hold a meteor at point to Earth and force us to answer who the GOAT of Valorant is, we need to be prepared.

In terms of achievement, the player with the most finals trophies would be:

No one. 2021 Acend, 2022 LOUD, 2023 Evil Geniuses, and 2024 EDward Gaming have no repeating players.

However, if we were to use the 10 highest ACS players on each Champions playoffs, including longevity, and weed out the players who are not in the top 10 more than once, we would have:

aspas: 3 (2022, 23, 24), won 2022 Finals
BuZz: 3 (2022, 23, 24)
Derke: 3 (2021, 22, 24)
Chronicle: 2 (2021, 24)
Less: 2 (2022, 23)

In terms of individual value/performance + longevity, aspas is the #1 player in Valorant. BuZz and Derke is tied for #2. Chronicle and Less is tied for #3.

If we were to average out their ACS from the years they were the top 10 highest ACS in finals play offs, the ranking would look more like:

#1: Derke avg. 265.70 ACS (3)
#2: aspas avg. 225.40 ACS (3) (Won 2022 Finals)
#3: BuZz avg. 225.13 ACS (3)
#4: Chronicle avg. 236.35 ACS (2)
#5: Less avg. 222.35 ACS (2)

In that ranking, Derke would be the #1 highest performing player with longevity by far.

I understand ACS is flawed and biased towards duelists so maybe the correct term would actually be the Best Shooter or Steph Curry of Valorant... but it does not sound nearly as good as The Lebron or The Faker of Valorant.

In conclusion, when the alien entity on the 19th of March asks us who the Lebron/Faker of Valorant is, our closest player (not really) would be:

Derke and aspas
