TBF the Chinese scene isn't developed enough to where franchised teams can have meaningful scrims against competent T2 teams
I'm not sure how common it is for these teams to scrim against Japanese or Korean T2 teams because that's the next best option really

Generally, don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine.
So with VCJ Split 1 coming to an end in the closest series I've seen, I'd like to give some of my predictions for Split 2 and how the Split 1 teams would perform
Current Ascension Favorite
FENNEL (Noteworthy players: SyouTa, Xdll, GON)
Ascension Contenders
REJECT (Noteworthy players: Akame and BRIAN)
Sengoku Gaming (Noteworthy players: JinboongE and Gwangboong)
Playoff Contenders, could do some upsets
NORTHEPTION (Noteworthy players: Wolverine and Esperanza)
Will make it out of Advance Stage into Split 2, could make playoffs
VARREL (Noteworthy players: xnfri)
Will probably get kicked out of Advance Stage
MURASH Gaming (Noteworthy players: Absol)
SCARZ (Noteworthy players: Yoshiii)
IGZIST (Noteworthy players: kobra)
Non-Split 1 teams that could likely make Split 2 through Advance Stage
Crest Gaming Zst (Likely chance of playoffs, look out for HYUNMIN)
FAV Gaming (Could maybe make playoffs but idk how much practice they got in with TenTen, watch him if they qualify)
RIDDLE ORDER (Purely off Seoldam and JoxJo they have a chance)
You know the stadium gonna go hard with this one
BRIAN ON HARBOR???????
Singapore jails people for littering, I don't think they take bribery out of NS very lightly

VCJ Split 1 Playoff: REJECT vs FENNEL
RC Brief Information: Currently has FENNEL's number, having beaten them 2-0 in both the regular season and the playoffs two weeks ago. BRIAN in particular went ham in the playoffs match on Reyna. This series would be his first LAN appearance after not winning a match last year, which is a massive improvement. Outside of him, the team as a whole is on a huge hot streak and could definitely take the win here.
FL Brief Information: Had an extremely close win against Sengoku Gaming, beating them out 3-2 off two OT maps and a massive 4-8 comeback on Split. Xdll came up MASSIVE in the series, with numerous clutches and even an ace. This event would mark their third LAN appearance for the team, meaning they have plenty of experience in handling the different environment. However, they also have their status of Japan's elite Challengers team on the line here.
RC Players to Watch: BRIAN was ballin in the playoff match, going 40 kills on a supposed non-meta agent. Hals also surprised everyone as he was also
FL Players to Watch: Xdll was fuckin cold with it against SG. This dude pulled out a 1v5 ace on Bind. Derialy also showed flashes of his 2022 Northeption times with an ace of his own on Ascent.
Prediction: While REJECT appears to be stronger mechanically, FENNEL have plenty of offline experience that would definitely aid them in nerve control, so I think the match would go 3:2 regardless of outcome. However, I think RC will take this to become the VCJ Split 1 Champions.
That Breeze gameplay was a banger
