There are some biological differences which have been proven such as reaction time differences, and hand to eye coordination. (this is on average tho so you could probably make a gc team that matches with the average tier 1/male team, ceteris parabis.

However, there are also many other inequalities, including:
inequity/lack of opportunity in the pro scene,
less women wanting to go pro in the first place
cultural differences as boys are normally introduced to gaming earlier than women
and there simply being less women who play competitive video games

These differences combined leads to gc teams performing worse, we can't change biology but to have these teams be more successful its more of a patriarchal issue.
