If teams saw this G2 comp and decided to try it but they play worse with this comp and decided to use this comp despite it not working then this is confirmation bias
leo doesn't do any region scheduling. There are people in charge of each region and the guy in charge of EMEA decided this was the schedule

sorta unfair to compare them since if u put demon1 in 2022 then yay would be the better player bc of how well yay's playstyle matched the chamber meta and demon1 would do better in 2023.
So if u just compare pure impact and stats Yay's would be higher overall
mibr most certainly had practice and they got different igls but their playstyle is very similar to what is what in kickoff in which they often move around the map in pairs or 3's on defense but they aren't aggressive on defense which doesn't pair well with a team like 100t which are very aggressive and because they don't take space on attack by the time 100t are attacking the site the defense players don't have time to rotate since they only know where 100t are going before it's too late (bc they dont take map control). On attack mibr moves in 4's and 5's when they attack normally and they are pretty aggressive often entrying the site at 1:20-1:00 but it's not 100t level of aggression and since mibr doesn't often default 100t just takes so much map control that by the time they enter a site 100t is just there waiting because they already know what site mibr are pushing since they don't default and take too long to enter (this strat works fine against passive teams as these teams will just play retake most rounds which is what mibr are best at)
tldr: even with different igls the teams playstyle hasn't changed much and 100ts playstyle works very well against a team like mibr.

Not sure how much valorant u watched from 2023 but from watching vct in 2023 I feel like prime EG and FNC would pretty easily beat every single team in 2025. While its true teams often get better overtime I just think there has been a significant lack of skill so far in 2024 and 2025. Util usage used by EG and FNC was just way better. Both teams won all their matches convincingly as well, showing that they are skilled teams that were far ahead of other teams, in 2024 and 2025 teams have been fluctuating so much it shows how a lot of them are pretty close in skill level.

Its not too hard to find out the dates of upcoming matches, this will prob make it slightly easier I guess. Also during internationals they remove all the t2/t3 matches from the events tab

u simply just default, shockdart end of halls and viper orb on attack (shock or viper molly to break any trips), half the rounds or so have 2 people lurk up halls and then u can do a 3 way split for when u attack A. If ur on defense and ur pyramid then u get destroyed by whoever opens door, if ur anywhere on site ur just fucked basically. So then teams will do retakes on A or just 3 stack A and push either mid, A main or halls.
Basically its even more attack sided than lotus and with tejo + heavy postplant meta its gonna be impossible to defend.

Stats are not that good since a rating of "1" is the average but for a 1-4 team he is performing slightly above average compared to the rest of his team
THing with 100t is that the calling and the team plays arent bad but asuna and sometimes others don't really seem to follow the plan (when u watch vc videos u can tell and just by observing the game and utility)
THey are so agressive in their playstyle but sometimes the utility is late or sometimes makes a play before util is used.

Apart from that, the astra meta was so shit as teams just baited util for the first minute every single round
