First of all I would like to congratulate KRU on their well deserved win. They were obviously the better team in that match. I am a SEN/NA fan so I want to address a few things I think SEN should do for 2022.

  1. Get a full time coach and analyst. They dont have any set strategies/executes to help them when needed like most teams do after timeouts. Their whole gameplan is survey them map and go to a site that shaz calls, its not a very good strategy and is very readable. They need a set gameplan for certain situations. They also need to work on their ability to adapt mid game. It just is no there. After getting bashed by KRU's attacking side they were not able to make any calls to mitigate the damage KRU was doing.

  2. Become more flexible. It's clear that some players just aren't very flexible on agents. For example Tenz only plays jett, and sick only plays skye/sage. They need some mixup of agents so they can adapt to certain maps that require different agents. Its obvious tenz is not a great jett on split.

  3. Get a better controller. I hate to admit it.... but we need a better controller. YES zombs is good at controlling his smokes but SEN needs more. They need a controller who is able to anchor sites without being an extra liability to the team. Someone like supaman would be great imo.

Please take this somewhat seriously I am already quite sad to see my favorite team drop out but let me know what you guys think!

Yea cus dropping a controller and replacing them with a duelist/initiator makes sense

They wouldn’t drop Hiko imo

Need a better coach and need to drop zombs. They need to learn how to use their util and better execute onto site aswell. Nothing about them is explosive they always go for mid round reads and hope that works. Zombs does his job good but needs to be able to help the team out a bit more. Tenz can’t be so inconsistent between maps too. Their best players right now are sick and shaz imo.

Congrats to all the eu teams making 1st seed. For the most part all are deserved. Hopefully NA can get their all the 2 seed spots 🤞

Honestly I think it would be very interesting however Riot does have region requirements such as the requirement of having 3 players playing from the region that they're representing. Also with covid and val esports being so young it may take some time

posted about 2 years ago

So basically make regional superteams?

posted about 2 years ago

True but I feel like he has kept Sen in a lot of games this event

He's had such a high impact on the team in such important moments

KR >>>>>>> BR

I honestly thought that sen would loose to furia because of how much they were throwing but after seeing the sen v TL match I think that sen would take it in a rematch

Honestly, the esports scene is not taken seriously in India. Those who do take it seriously cannot get enough support or funding to make it to an international level. Its a cultural thing.

Fr they gonna be the next BR

  1. They deserve the spot cus the stomp everyone in their own region so they are obviously the best for JP and deserve to be at these LAN events.

  2. The whole region of JP is not as good at val YET but look at BR for an example. Everyone was saying they are an ez stomp but know they are making some of the best teams sweat. I believe this improvement can come to JP in 2022.

Bro stop trying to bring in Sen. it has nothing to do with different teams and favoritism. The team used the exploit they got punished. I will say the punishment is quite harsh but it’s not any teams fault. 😭

I mean almost everyone expected fnatic to do poorly. Also VS has always been a favorite. Tbh they do these trash takes for views.

Fnatic are SERIOUS contenders for champ finals. Their team and individual play is unlike anything we have seen so far. It also shows that Fnatic has been doing their research about teams and knows how to counter them whereas other teams can't counter fnatic very easily.

Brazil teams came to play, To be honest, the VKS vs Acend match had MOST of us surprised but it shows that other regions are improving and it makes this tournament much more interesting.

NA teams stayed the same for the most part. I haven't seen any real improvement in the NA scene so i'm quite worried how that will leave the region comptetively.

VS got read like a book. VS simply got outplayed and outclassed by fnatic. It was clear they didn't have any more strats in their books and once figured out cannot adjust. They are still a strong team however this made me realize they may not be top 3 contenders.

What are your guys takeaways?

Sentinels 2-1 (mostly hopium that sen pull through even though they look pretty bad rn)

NV (NA hopium but I think VKS will put up a good match)

Gambit (i think that Vikings will put up a good match)

So many misplays and 1/8

posted about 2 years ago

thats just fucking racist wtf is wrong with you

posted about 2 years ago

I mean I agree that they are very biased but I don’t blame them. Most are from EU, and honestly BR hasn’t had the best LAN runs. Most have been one sided stomps, whereas EU and NA always have always had really good runs. But they Fr need to start giving BR teams more credit!

posted about 2 years ago

If it was in the same conditions I believe so too. But I honestly think and hope that was an off game for sen.

I’m not a fan of Brazilian teams usually but these performances is making me a fan. Brazil came to play at champs. GG

6/6 babyyyyyyy

posted about 2 years ago

Yea im not gonna lie I had very high expectations due to what people were saying abt sen scrim results however everyone except tenz had a very subpar or even bad performance. If this keeps up idk if they will make it very far against better teams

posted about 2 years ago

Vs would 100% loose if they keep playing like this

posted about 2 years ago

Sen seems so mechanically bad. Taking individual fights and no good until usage. They need to do something asap.

posted about 2 years ago

I think furia looked really good the 1st half, they started throwing hard during the second half. I’m also kind of concerned for sen cause they didn’t look the best, but I also think they may be “warming up” and saving strats (hopefully)

posted about 2 years ago

LMFAO we are talking about the same x10 that got 2-1 by full sense. Full sense got absolute shit on by VS, and imo VS and NV are pretty close together

posted about 2 years ago

Bad takes imo but it could happen. Just chances are next to zero.

posted about 2 years ago

Dereke???

posted about 2 years ago

Ok now ur just letting this get to ur head lmfao

posted about 2 years ago

Sacy, buzz, stax's breach util usage, derke

posted about 2 years ago

we will see when they play VS which for me is a top 3 team rn.

posted about 2 years ago

LMFAO THIS IS GOLD

posted about 2 years ago

i mean they performed better than expected, but it was super embarrassing to go into 2 OTs with this version of c9 that was throwing horribly. lmfao prob still weakest emea team at champs

posted about 2 years ago

I mean all those teams like giants g2 and navi got rid of their better players and are doing huge reworks. imo fnatic looks a lot better than a lot of people thought they would. Its still embarrassing that it got so close to such a horrid version of c9

posted about 2 years ago

https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/866867a4 gang, just need c9 to win the rematch

SMOKING COPIUM THAT LEAF PERFORMS BETTER

posted about 2 years ago

Nah I think the diversity should stay. It keeps the other regions competitive and let’s them develop their strats.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes c9 does look horrid, however I strongly believe that Fnatic in this form could beat a lot of teams. They’ve been doing their research and it shows. I think Fnatic v VS is gonna be a great match

posted about 2 years ago

Eh, I think this amount is good. Who’s spot would they take if they get 5?

posted about 2 years ago

Yea to be honest this is the worst version ive seen of c9. Leaf is throwing hardddddd

posted about 2 years ago

Also their executes are flawless. Def a team to look out for
