Yeah you're right about these points. The protagonists were definitely not very compelling. I didn't think miles was too bad of a character, and then you reminded me of spiderverse miles which is a night and day difference.

yay ALWAYS looked like the best player itw when he played in tier one, only went negative TWICE in an entire year including playing internationally.

Shao has really high peaks, but he looked incredibly mid this year ever since lock in.

You are right. We've seen high peaks from these players, but they looked pretty disappointing this year.

It was fun and I enjoyed it, but am I crazy for saying its only a 7.5/10? It just didn't wow me like insomniac's first spider-man game. Like, take the batman arkham games for example. Each game was more impressive than the last, and the boss fights were mostly all unique and engaging. Spider-man 2's boss fights are so repetitive, they all have 4 health bars and nothing really changes between each phase in their forms or attacks. It's just dodge, mash square, and spam venom moves for every single boss.

The most impressive feature is the load times and visuals imo. The story was solid, but nothing that blew me away.
