Nah your take is definitely fair. I also really liked the characters. I guess the difference in opinion between us is mainly story wise, I thought in the war arc there were too many ass pulls. Like random villains being introduced out of nowhere (kaguya), randomly betraying each other (zetsu backstab madara), or just turning to the good side when it just felt so out of place narratively (obito).

How bruh. The pacing becomes awful. They try to fit a 2 day battle into 200 episodes. And the constant power ups was pissing me off. Not to mention all the deus ex machina moments and random ass pulls. And then the ending is so abrupt .

I haven't seen solo leveling, but I thought demon slayer was corny and the characters seemed generic. Also naruto is good up until pain arc, after that it falls off pretty hard.

that may be true, but he is the igl, and replacing him would almost be like starting from scratch. as good as trexx is, he was the more replaceable of the two from a team standpoint. besides, sayf hasn't been playing well individually but he has had high peaks in the past, I feel like it's still possible for him to get back to that level again.

you make a good point, the only thing is going through ascension is a tedious grind, even though we know they should be able to steamroll it. i could see a world where trexx, suygetsu and shao team up. still tho nats probably would want to stay and see how this season goes since tl showed a lot of promise and have a chance for competing for a title. and i feel like chron wouldn't want to leave fnatic since it's a good situation for him.

well team chemistry is arguably the most important factor for winning a championship. no team has won a championship without it besides maybe like loud 2022 and even then it was just rumors. so i can understand where vit was coming from to bench trexx since him and sayf were having conflicts.

well still, they would have to find a way to poach each of these players from their current teams which wouldn't be easy. it's not like they are free agents who are easily obtainable.
