I don’t think you can put TSM on the list and not IMT.

If you’ve been around here enough, you know I’m a big TSM fan. I like the individual players, but ultimately I want what’s best for the team. With that being said, I don’t see how TSM can keep Cutler as a starter and expect to win key matches moving forward.

I’m not pro, I’m not a great player, I’m not a good aimer, but I have a decent brain. Support players aren’t supposed to top frag, but they should be able to win some aim duels against equal competition. Lots of people on Twitch say “Cutler plays Astra, he’s not supposed to get kills, he should stay on the team because his utility usage is great.” I don’t think that’s realistic. Cutler went 2-16-1 against IMT on Ascent. Meanwhile, his Astra counterpart in JCStani went 12-12-6. We even saw Skadoodle top frag on Astra in a loss with a line of 20-15-5.

Here’s my point. A support player doesn’t have to go positive, but they can’t be going double negative or consistently be the weak link in the team. Subroza plays Skye and frags. Drone plays Sova and frags. Brax plays Killjoy and frags. You can’t use “support player” as an excuse for going 8X-negative.

So, after my TL;DR of a post, why would you defend Cutler? I’m genuinely asking and will consider responses. People in game broadcasts get very offended that I would suggest Cutler be dropped for the good of the team.

SEN vs TSM pls, both of these teams need to be in Challengers Finals. idc if TSM wins or loses against SEN, they just need to make it to this game through ABX or C9.

I’m pretty sure I’m wrong, but can anybody explain why? Does it have to do with seeding? I like TSM’s chances a lot more against the likes of ABX or C9.

I’m hoping IMT win this. I think I’d rather see TSM go against NRG than lose to IMT for the 3rd time in a row. TSM is so damn close to Challengers Finals it’s making me mad uncomfy yo.

XSET came out of nowhere imo, but I never really followed them.

It has to be Renegades. They’ve won 3 NSG events in a row and dominated Soniqs, their closest competitor. Version1 and BBG are probably too good now to be considered Tier 2, depending on who you ask. XSET and TSM are also borderline. Team tiers seem to be a very abstract and contested topic.

Yes, have to agree here. They’re very momentum based, losing and winning rounds in big chunks. For example, they started 5-0 against LG on Ascent and proceeded to lose 6 in a row (later losing the game itself).

Gen.G scared me on both maps for that reason. 9-0 finished as a 13-6, and 9-3 ended as a 13-9. However, these games may actually help TSM’s mental. They’ve proven to themselves that they can hold off a mid-map surge from their opponent and prevent a comeback.

you’re definitely right about preparing for strats. however, i don’t think that’s the only reason they lost. poach doesn’t win a 1v4 by only knowing strats, if you know what i mean. i think sentinels was just outclassed that day. every team has off days, so i’m not here to flame sentinels. but i do think shahzam, while he has a valid point, was making too many excuses for his teams loss.

Drone had been kinda stagnant on Phoenix recently, and he still balls out on Sova. I’m totally fine with that move. His Raze was good yesterday, too.

Eh, you can check comment history if you want. I'm a pretty big fan lol, I'd say I'm familiar with the team and the comps they like to run. Until he mains duelists in pro play against legitimate teams, I'm not buying it. Comp is one thing, pro play is another.

Like I've said a few times before, he doesn't really fit TSM's roster. It's hard to replace Cutler since I don't think Brax can IGL or play Astra. I'd rather keep Hazed.

I was one of the first TSM fans to vocally call for Cutler's removal, but now I'm reluctant. The team should probably keep him to play Astra in some games. Let's take full advantage of the 6-man roster. Play Brax unless Cutler is required. TSM can switch them out per map.

I think TSM needs to bring in another player before they can fully drop Cutler. Brax isn't the same type of player as Cutler. He's like Wardell in that I only realistically see him on sentinel agents. If he can expand his agent pool, I'd love to be surprised.
