Good that there is the same prize money for both genders. Thats a step towards equality where women can go all in on Valorant esport with the same opportunitys as men.
Exacly what i was waiting for. A bigger production that was going to take care of a Valorant tournament.
Now i just hope ESL or Dreamhack will do the same!
First off, i just find it weird that the team Bonk was not directly invited to Allied Esports Odyssey. But i think they are going to be the next team to get signed, but with what org?..
Agreed, that would be a great move.
Not just because of Dickstacy big following, but i think Team Launch have potential to be the best team in Oceania.
As far as i know, the intention will be to let the scene grow over this year and hopefully (if it's even possible due to COVID-19) have the LAN in katowice next year.
But as it's riot and alot of big companies are involved, probably franchise leagues will happen. It may be a good thing, but it feels very restrictive at some times..
Hopefully Riot does a circuit franchise, going from city to city having tournaments just like BLAST did in CS:GO.
Cuz FPX probably contacted them, so they get early exposure
