I hope that EU doesn't eventually dominate the game, honestly this NA vs EU rivalry is one of the best things that Valorant has produced. It gets a sort of tribal culture around it with trash talk from both sides, and with the way that Valorant esports is formatted with international matches happening very rarely, every game between the top teams of each region feel that much more important. In CS, it feels like we see every single tournament dominated by the same teams every time and all of them are EU, which could disconnect many viewers, especially from NA and other regions that aren't massive CS powerhouses. In valorant however, the hype built up between these two giants of NA and EU can bring in new fans as they see the hype around these two teams and want to see what's up. Just look at the growth valorant has had since it came out. It has hundred of thousands of people watching damn QUALIFIERS, and unless riot does a tremendous fuck up then these numbers can only get higher as more people get exposed to valorant and the esports scene, and I think the NA vs EU rivalry will contribute heavily to that.

I like single elim better, it makes every match a real fight for survival instead of having a cushion of the lower bracket, imo the most exciting games of every tournament for me have been lower bracket games, upper bracket games don't have the same excitement because there is a lower bracket they can fall to

Did you think they were going to beat TSM? Plus through the challengers qualifiers and playoffs beating teams like C9B, GenG, and FaZe and keeping decently competitive series with SEN, and XSET, that's very impressive considering they were thought of as just another Tier 2 team to get washed by the actually good teams in qualifiers

Rise is one of the most inspirational teams this whole challengers cycle, they grinded their way through all the tier 2 events, and when they pulled off a couple of upsets and got the opportunity to play in the challengers main stages, they absolutely overachieved and stayed competitive with many teams that people thought were far superior to them. I hope tehy continue to succeed in the future

they're both really good, the manga is starting a new arc right now, so if you want to catch up to it quickly then read the manga, but the anime is also hilarious with the narrator and the animation, its more of a preference thing. If you have the time I would suggest watching the anime first then reading the entire manga including the part in the anime

I've always hated the idea of superteams, but I guess its inevitable in any competitive game that a team would want the best players possible. Sentinels is just too good of a team right now, so nobody else can compete. With them, and its basically a foregone conclusion that SEN is going to win and everyone else in NA is fighting for 2nd. I also want some type of rivalry or something, the game feels too nice and everyone likes each other. I'm not saying every needs to hate each other, I just want some type of conflict.
