My reason is:

Previously, DRX's igl was never a weak link, with glow being consistent even with his age, and stax arguably being the strongest player while igling.

No disrespect to Zest, he is a smart player with good calling and strats. However, his firepower is not significantly weaker, but is noticeably weaker compared to others on the drx roster.

What do y'all think? Can Zest step up like before and lead drx to international greatness?

Tbh I feel like wardell should be top 5, as he has been consistently only playing chamber this year.

Zeta is a good underdog option, and also DRX is a great team

posted about 2 years ago

tbh theyre good, and will keep it all close

but realistically they are going up against very tough opponents

george literally a walking L

only good for information, and has the worst takes

Some of my hot takes

1: OpTic grouped
2: Liquid go far (top 4)
3: Zeta division wins a match
4: G2 win because FPX gone
5: Guard get 5/6th due to lack of experience
6: prx beats drx

in September, there were 4 tier 1 teams who wanted to sign him, but discussions never got past internal management staff

if they really are passionate about winning trophies, they will change him out imo

posted about 2 years ago

tbh its a competition, less points for fpx means more chances for LQD in the future to play LCQ or champions

posted about 2 years ago

heres the thing

LQD deserve the points of their own placement, as they placed it, not FPX

but FPX also deserve some points in the event(at least min, as they were the ones who played the bracket to qualify).

it is unfair to put FPX's fate/amount of points fully into liquids hands, as then they could just throw and do wacky shit

if its actually his wife controlling him, then thats toxic af

I hope he can show the world what he can do in Reykjavik!

All group stage teams will get points as far as i know

posted about 2 years ago

Ummmm seems unlikely they win, but I think they can place quite highly(top 4)

posted about 2 years ago

Love to see these younglings rise. Hope they stay together and win, cause they deserve it.

posted about 2 years ago

True, but even against JP teams in CR, they were average, especially Minty who was forced on KJ and sage

posted about 2 years ago

So on CR they were just average, but now they basically hard carried an unk. fav team to top 4 in JP, why do they perform so well now?

International masters, not domestic

posted about 2 years ago

I mean champions doesn't count as a masters

posted about 2 years ago

The FCG tourneys are not riot organized, thus FPX can play, but say china received lcq slots, they can't play in that

posted about 2 years ago

So FPX win this one?

Hmmm actually very possible
