What the guard did was such an impressive story and feat. Imagine all 5 stick together and didn't dip for franchising. Play together a whole year and achieved consistency to get the one ascension slot. Riot just shit all over that.
Players sacrificed so much to get to where they are. The way riot and Leo handle the situations shows they don't give a fk and only want to sell the orgs and the franchise system as a way to make money. They no longer have the esports passion of old league.

I think tier 1 teams just need to wake up and do better job at talent scouting. I can guaranteed you there's some insane tier2 and tier3 players in all the leagues but with how rushed franchising is a lot of teams didn't really do their research.
I think we about to see the entire scene just completely change. I just have a feeling since after first year of franchising ppl starting to realized who's good from tier 2/ tier 3 and tier 1 players who are mid. I hope the orgs have good talent scouts but I'm excited to see how some of these roster change.
