With the current competitive structure, pros should quit Valorant and they should consider streaming or choose a different game for their career; Their life & career is extremely dependent on the current meta which Riot manages. Metas changes are good for the fans but require so much adaptability from the players. More so, it is bizarre why we would have a LCQ already in the first month of the year. I can understand Riot's decision to choose this competitive format (https://twitter.com/lhfaria/status/1615424736791760897), but what they get wrong is that they prioritize the fans disproportionately to the professional players who play their game. It is simply a high risk low reward. Imagine sacrificing your entire 20's just to gurantee a spot in franchising; and if you don't you will feel like you wasted your life. Their entire career is dependent on by a group of people who write the rules based on their own philosophy of what is right and wrong. Valorant & Riot is an example of why an e-sport can never become a sport, so pros should not treat it as such

Imagine they were so close 4 times... from break thru to dark ratio to squirtle squad and now soniqs

posted about 2 years ago

It's kinda the sad reality like unless a team in challengers or tier 1 picks him up. For ppl that don't make it the year is kinda over.

Soniqs look good

posted about 2 years ago

No lol he's also inconsistent

It's definitely gonna be squirtle squad and oresport

I mean I'm hearing some whisper or just videos on YouTube on overwatch 2 pros not being happy and been seeing some more ppl retire or switch.

posted about 2 years ago

Someone pls tell me overwatch pros are switching to valorant ? I feel like that would make the korean valorant scene pretty big.

posted about 2 years ago

literally first time i really watch adder cause watch parties but yeah there's some demons in tier 2/tier 2 scene.

posted about 2 years ago

with franchising the pro scene became super competitive , even tier 2 scene is hard to get into. Just look at these brackets the teams that qualify and make it out alive are literally molded by the grind. Its actually super good because I feel like the tier 2 scene will be better or even to tier 1 scene for a while, until the star tier 2 players get poach or bought out by tier 1 orgs.

This matchup actually crazy. I feel like both SS and ORE deserved the spot whichever team wins. Both pretty crack.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean you can tell stewie isn't use to pro valorant, I feel like they do practice and grind for a good month or so.

posted about 2 years ago

Its just the valorant scene became like 10 times more competitive and you have rank demons and talents grinding it since the start. Literally days of one tricking a duelist is over. Look at squirtle squad all their players are pretty flexible with their roles.

Adder fking saved them that last round cause he got that kill on stewie making it a 2v2.

bro harmful jett > wardell same with op.

posted about 2 years ago

bro wardell is just not that good man , i feel like i've seen it way too many times. Only really good on jett and seem cold now compare to other duelist/jett.

posted about 2 years ago

bro every duel he takes his aim is so clean and his gamesense actually insane.

posted about 2 years ago

Holy fk this guy is insane. That 3k was cold

posted about 2 years ago

No future 💀

posted about 2 years ago

Bro switch to becoming a fnatic fan cause there's no way they can beat the current iteration of fnatic.

posted about 2 years ago

Let them cook eg csgo just beat number csgo team heroic !! Lol it's gonna be good

posted about 2 years ago

No chance lol other team look practiced af and actually have good players

posted about 2 years ago

You acting like 3 of them don't have pro valorant experience lol.

posted about 2 years ago

For the first couple of month maybe even year, yes tier 1 valo will not be a peek level. when off season or trading season comes the organizations will try to go for star players from tier 2 to round out their teams.

posted about 2 years ago

L Take. Once asian and Chinese valorant takes off you bout to get some spicy trash talk and games.

posted about 2 years ago

Bro saying top 5 chamber lol comon stop with these hypotheticals ... ppl watching ascension qualifier matches like it's tier 1 valorant. Literally not even tier 2 competition.

posted about 2 years ago

Only reason why mongolia dominate apac csgo is cause cs died in Asia LOL

posted about 2 years ago

Prod actually doesn't know what fear is

posted about 2 years ago

Bro who cares lol

posted about 2 years ago

Getting rekt by lrod and friends xd

posted about 2 years ago

nah the problem is there's too many teams. If you split it up or the event drags too long its boring and ppl won't want to follow. A lot of casual twitch viewers will tune in for the main channel. There's so many games that will be miss and no one will bother to watch the vod to see. All and all its just less hype and not as good for viewership.

posted about 2 years ago

Dfm wins this if they don't play like t1

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah its kinda gg for them tmmr. Caliber of teams way better . Just better players and more strats.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes he was very good and he hasn't played valorant in a year. I'm surprised he's keeping up in a pro match. If he grinds he be back to form. But the caliber of teams they're facing tmmr is a different level.

posted about 2 years ago

Don't sleep on dizzy. He took a long break from valorant and it shows sadly. He looks rusty but hopefully he comes back tmmr.

posted about 2 years ago

Actually tho. Marved was sleeping a bit late series.

posted about 2 years ago

Damn they barely scrap past that

posted about 2 years ago

Really disappointing to see that.
