people played fnatic comp in 2023 as well... just many teams subbed fade for skye, but it played very similarly (execs lead with fade/skye dog, skye flash/fade eye is used for early info/trap plays, initi can play a pivot role on def). Only difference is that teams got a lot better at dealing with fnatic. Most of the times, it's not about the comp, it's about the team playing it (for example prx)
yeah but i mean zekken was on a team that was built around amazing coordination, so ofc his team impact was larger. When aspas was on loud they used him as the tip of the spear and he provided plenty impact as well, lev just used him more passively

some teams will find success playing yoru, sova, omen, neon, cypher

She is good, but requires a lot of skill to master.
She also isn't clearly better than her alternatives, has a clear weakness/counters that can exploit her, doesn't fill multiple roles on a team, and isn't viable on every map and needs a team comp built around her.
All those things were true about prime chamber (although I don't think he was actually as good as people make him out to be)

she isnt even that good plus she takes a while to master plus the duelist class is finally somewhat healthy
viper meta with strong double orb/double initi options (make double scans viable) with lots of yoru/skye/vyse/gekko to fill two roles. Also strong 'niche' picks like iso, viper, deadlock, chamber that don't fulfill a necessary role but have a really strong aspect they can abuse (eg viper fuel for lurks, chamber tp, iso shield, deadlock kit) Maybe even double sentinel/duelist comps on faster paced maps like split as off meta niche ideas
