Tbf, aspas is just magnificent, every game he plays he performs to his best level which is incredibly high.

Less clears him when loud goes on deep runs for sure. I'd say Aspas is the base and less is loud's real win condition

Alfa was not on his best form yet at lock//in tbf, he was arguably FNC worst player there.

I disagree highly?
Sentinels was just a project doomed to fail.

Fnatic added Leo and chronicle for firepower look how it went for them.

EG added Demon1

PRX added something

Firepower is a need in this meta. All top teams are busting with firepower except for NRG.

Actually incredibly true. Blud had one good game and everybody started to say he's mad underrated when in every tournament he has by far the worst stats of the team + by eyesight you can see he's the worst player on EDG easily

posted about a year ago

Regarding champs 2023

  1. Alfajer will end up #1 on most lists after the tourney
  2. PRX v FNC is the finals
  3. Something will not be able to perform as well as he did in pacific
  4. d4v41 is mad underrated
  5. EG won't finish in the top 4
  6. Americas will flop

Come on bro.. they were the worst player on the best team while zekken and Trent were best or second best in their team. Let's not act like Valorant is not a team game...

Crashies util is still very good, and there's an argument to be made that they are still better as a duo, but you def are underestimating zekken and Trent ngl

Cuz what? Navi went 4th in lock//in and liquid 6th in Tokyo lol, keep crying buddy

Actually many people are sharing their opinion here and some of them are agreeing. I think many people do gaf

I don't want to shame any team with this post.

But, especially on this site, Americas is madly overhyped. Everyone was saying Americas lcq clears pacific or emea, but the winner just got eliminated from EMEA's winner...

then again we have the NA>EMEA discussion which obviously has no sense and it's useless to consider the face to face games (10 teams v 5 teams in lock//in, 4 teams v 2 teams in Tokyo), ofc na is gonna be favored there...

I do love some Americas teams but sometimes their fans waffle way too much and it makes it hard to root for them

how can you say

FUT<T1 after they got destroyed just some days ago? (also FUT going head to head with EG, T1 struggling against FPX...)

Just why?
The rest could be true could be false

posted about a year ago

Nah to me it's Americas>EMEA>pacific but the difference is so thin tbf I'd accept even pacific 1st as an opinion, I just think that after their 2nd best team their region is easily the worst

Objectively s0m's team performed better than mindfreak's team in lock//in and were almost equal to mindfreak's in Tokyo.

In VCT americas s0m was one of the best players while mindfreak was just very good (in PAC).

Also mindfreak was the worst player for PRX in lock//in and VCT pacific and 2nd worst in Tokyo for his team, while s0m was 2nd best in lock//in and best in Tokyo (by a mile).

Also s0m statistics own mindfreak's fr.

After champs if NRG disappoints this could change

posted about a year ago

Well they only played 1½ tournaments well across the 3 tournaments we had this year (lock//in, leagues, master/LCQ), while other teams (and players) were more consistent (loud, drx etc) and also it's hard to attribute all the success just to one player so it's more spread out and as a consequence they are all lower.

As champs will finish though, I'm sure they'll have 1 or 2 players in the top 10

posted about a year ago

Ethan top ~10 is fine with me
Something only played a regional league
s0m should be there, his team was the only consistent team in both lock//in and Tokyo (besides FNATIC ofc) and he was the best player for the team
Added kangkang
Mako is top 6

posted about a year ago

Forgot him, probably not top 20 but incredibly close

posted about a year ago

He didn't play bad at masters lol, loud did. Look at his stats compared to other loud's players, he was hard carrying.

Also, Jingg didn't perform at lock//in, MaKo on masters, Ethan in lock//in etc. Not many people were consistent in both titles we had this year

That's fair, but they legit have just 2 teams and the rest have looked pretty bad until now.

Americas seems to have only 1 legit contender but 3 good teams as well to go along with it.

Same thing about EMEA... FNC seems to be the only real contender but FUT, giants and NaVi aren't looking as slouches either

posted about a year ago

I disagree with pacific being first tbh. Like I understand that PRX crushed a relatively tough group and DRX managed to go undefeated through arguably the toughest group, but T1 looked shaky against FPX and got blown out by FUT, same thing about ZETA but they played fnatic so it really doesn't mean much..

But I would say that the three leagues look as close as they have ever looked. All the leagues have legit contenders and some great teams on their sides too.
